I definitely see what you all are saying about some people maybe mixing them up by accident, as it has happened with my brother and I’s names. However it never really bothered me that people would make a quick accidental mistake. So for other people would that really be a big deal (I can see how some people would be irked by it). Also I see the appeal of the fuller name variations but that can change the meaning of the name sometimes which is very important to me. Like [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] do not have the same meaning. I am also a strong believer that nicknames should never be a go to name. [name_f]Love[/name_f] nicknames even call people by their nicknames lots, just not a fan of them being the sole primary name. Like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] only being know as [name_f]Beth[/name_f] despite her legal name being [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
