[name]Hi[/name] all! My husband and I are expecting our first baby (a boy) in [name]July[/name]. We both love the name [name]Evan[/name]. My only hesitation is that my husband’s name is [name]Adam[/name] and when you say the names aloud, they sound sort of similar. [name]Do[/name] you think so, or am I over thinking it? I want all of our names to “go” together as a family set and worry that this wouldn’t sound right. Opinions wanted!

Me either. They sound plenty different when I say them aloud. I say go for [name]Evan[/name]! It’s a very handsome name.
I agree with the others. [name]Adam[/name] and [name]Evan[/name] go fine together! I would even say they are fine as brothers, much less as father and son (which can be much closer together, imo).
