If were to have two girls name [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Eliane[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]… Are [name_f]Eliane[/name_f] (mn) and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] (fn) too close to use this way?
Yes, I think they are a bit too close. Kind of like having an [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and an [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].
Sight wise they are almost identical but hearing wise they are different. Personally I would not use them both.
They would be too close for me.
I think since one is a first name and the other a middle name it would be okay. However, I wouldn’t want one child to feel like they were named after their sister.
[name_m]Aren[/name_m]'t they the same name, one being the [name_m]French[/name_m] version ([name_f]Eliane[/name_f]) and the other Spanish ([name_f]Eliana[/name_f])? I personally wouldn’t use both. Maybe consider :
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleni[/name_f]
[name_f]Ariane[/name_f]
[name_f]Josiane[/name_f]
Lilyane
Personally I think they’re probably too close.
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] are beautiful sister names though.
Thanks for all the feedback… I agree! What other middle name for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] would sound great?
If I were [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] I’d want to know why you gave my sister a middle name that is almost identical to my first name?
Would you swap [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]'s middle [name_f]Joy[/name_f] for [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]? So having twin girls called…
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Eliane[/name_f] & [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]
If you wouldn’t then I don’t think one sister should have her first name almost identical to her sister’s middle name. It might look like you’ve just ran of out of ideas so [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] might be a little disappointed. Twins already share so much so I think their names should be entirely different.
