Too similar?

I love [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f], but do you think they are too similar to use together? The beginnings don’t sound anything the same, but they are both 2 syllables, 4 letters, and end with A. Please give me your thoughts, as well as any other name suggestions you would pair with these names. Thanks!

Nope, I don’t think so. [name_f]Mira[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f], maybe, but not [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f].

You could continue the short and sweet, like [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u], or you could go with longer middles, like [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].

No I don’t think their too similar. The only thing that sounds the same is the ending sound. If you don’t like that their both 4 letters you could spell [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as [name_f]Norah[/name_f] instead. I think they would be kinda cute as sisters actually  To me it feels like your pairing vintage [name_f]Nora[/name_f] with modern [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and I like the feel it gives off.

I personally think of [name_f]Mila[/name_f] as modern and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as vintage, you and others may not agree

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are totally fine! In fact they are rather sweet. If you want, you can opt for longer names, like [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] & [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are sweet, and they are not too similar. I like pairing short & sweet names with more extravagant middles.

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Callista[/name_f]

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Verona[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]

Thanks everyone! I like the idea of pairing the short names with longer middle names.

I don’t think they are too similar for sisters. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] sound nice together

I don’t think it’s too similar, I think it’s really sweet  you could always use them as nicknames e.g. [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].

I’d pair them with long middles:
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] & [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]

I don’t think they sound to similar at all. If I were you I would go ahead and use them. I think both of those names are lovely.
I also like [name_f]Milena[/name_f] and [name_f]Norah[/name_f].

artemisathena0107 - I love [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]! Thank you.

I think [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] are fine together. Mn suggestions: [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].

Another vote for “they definitely aren’t too similar” here. And you could make them slightly less similar by using the [name_f]Norah[/name_f] spelling if you wanted to.
