Too similar?

I love the names [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and I would love to use both of them but, what do you guys think? Are they too similar? If so, are there any names like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] that I might love?

They are definitely too close for siblings. What is it about [name_f]Emma[/name_f] that appeals to you? The simplicity, the classic style, the [name_f]Em[/name_f]- sound? If you’re looking for names that contain “em,” I would suggest:
[name_f]Emiliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
[name_f]Demi[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Noemi[/name_f]
[name_u]Ember[/name_u]
[name_f]September[/name_f]
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f]

If you prefer the short, vintage feel of [name_f]Emma[/name_f], you might like:
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]/[name_f]Ava[/name_f]/[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]/[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]/[name_u]Ellery[/name_u]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]

I don’t think it’s the classic style, I just love short sweet names for girls. You gave some good suggestions!

I do think they are too close, but I would also hesitate because one is unisex and one is traditionally feminine and that could appear to set different expectations or cause hard feelings among sisters. Some possible ideas for a sister to [name_u]Emery[/name_u]:

[name_u]Finley[/name_u]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_u]Tierney[/name_u]
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]–might also be too close
[name_u]Darby[/name_u]
[name_u]Kirby[/name_u]
