[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_f]Ember[/name_f]. [name_f]Ember[/name_f] would likely be used on a girl.
For siblings? I’d say yes for my personal taste.
Yes, I’d avoid another [name_f]Em[/name_f]- name!
too close for me
It’s a tad too similar for me with the repeated “Em” beginning, especially since [name_f]Em[/name_f] might be an instinctual nickname for both as well.
A little too close for my comfort.
[name_f][/name_f]Some alternatives, for fun:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Carys[/name_f] and [name_f]Ember[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_f]Cambrie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and [name_f]Ember[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_f]Briar[/name_f]
I think [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_f]Ember[/name_f] are too similar for siblings because they share the “Em” beginning (and nickname) and they’re both two syllables long.
A bit close for me since the EM- sound is so prominent
too similar
[name_f][/name_f]both em starting
[name_f][/name_f]both two syllables
[name_f][/name_f]both have r at second syllable
Too similar for siblings, in my opinion.
[name_f][/name_f]That said, I know siblings like this. I know a [name_m]Victor[/name_m] & [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], an [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] & [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], and an [name_m]Everett[/name_m] & [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f]. If these names seem fine to you, go for [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] & [name_f]Ember[/name_f]. If they make you uncomfortable, probably best to find an alternative.
For siblings I’d say too close. I’d use [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] as a first name and if I really loved it, use [name_f]Ember[/name_f] as a middle name.
For me personally I think they are a bit similar for siblings.
Yeah, definitely too similar for siblings I think.
