[name_m]Ive[/name_m] been looking through lots of pages of posts and like a lot of the names. [name_m]Ive[/name_m] put them together with the one name that will definitely be used. What do you think of these? Are they ok or a little weird/“out there” with the one name weve chosen? The name that will be included somewhere is [name_u]Zion[/name_u].
I also like [name_m]Apollo[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Mathias[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] but cant think how to include them
My favourite is [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_u]Zion[/name_u] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m], but I think it’s mainly because I like the [name_u]Zion[/name_u] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] combination for the middle names. It would work with quite a few of your first name picks:

I thought I had commented there but I guess I didn’t. [name_u]Zion[/name_u] is in extremely poor taste. It’s right up there with Hitler. I’ll concede that in some small areas, like in [name_f]Jamaica[/name_f] and maybe in [name_m]Israel[/name_m], [name_u]Zion[/name_u] could be somewhat acceptable. For much of the world, it’s highly offensive.
I was not asking about the name zion itself. Its a given that our baby will have that as probably his middle name. I was not asking for comment on the name zion, i was asking what names paired well with it. I hardly think everyone thinks zion is right up there with hitler seeing as your the only one who said anything. If it was such a big deal others would have said something.

I have already conceded that there may be small enclaves where this name is acceptable. If you’ve done your research about why this name will be highly inflammatory for huge populations of people around the world and you don’t care, then fine. I was simply stating an opinion.

She’s defensive because you stated your opinion in a disrespectful manner. [name_u]Zion[/name_u] is right up there with Hitler? I understand why [name_u]Zion[/name_u] is a sensitive name (in the likes of [name_m]Cohen[/name_m], [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], etc), but comparing it with Hitler is quite a stretch. OP has her own reasons for using it and she was not asking for your opinions on the name [name_u]Zion[/name_u], just on the different combinations she has chosen.

It’s inflammatory, in poor taste, though perfectly acceptable in certain enclaves (the KKK, for example, which al uses [name_u]Zion[/name_u] quite often).
