Oh totally, 90% of my list I don’t think I would ACTUALLY use, I just think they’re lovely or interesting.
Honestly, a lot of it is names I think are pretty, but might hesitate because I don’t feel like they’re meaningful enough.
[name]Gwen[/name] & [name]Eve[/name] are at the top of that list. Those I think I might use, but I’d think twice.
[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Phineas[/name]
[name]Zane[/name]
Zeal - love this one!
[name]Darius[/name] - love love love
[name]Rufus[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
Solemn
[name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Juniper[/name]
[name]Emerald[/name]
[name]Dulcinea[/name] (my chihuahua’s name. [name]Love[/name] it but could never use for a human baby)
[name]Marigold[/name]
And [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Graham[/name]. [name]Even[/name] though I think it sounds lovely together, his name would essentially be [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Graham[/name].
[name]Caspian[/name]
[name]Milo[/name] (it’s an energy drink in Australia!)
[name]Arlen[/name]
[name]Boaz[/name]
[name]Omri[/name]
[name]Zebedee[/name]!
I agree, it’s not overly wild, but it’s just so different to me! I have to say it is growing on me though! Maybe even making its way over to the “keep in mind” list!
The top striker in my footie team named his daughter [name]Delfina[/name] before he moved to our club. Recently, his wife pointed out that it’s also an anagram of Anfield which is the name of our ground (stadium)… [name]How[/name] serendipitous
Pshht! I would use [name]Marius[/name] without hesitation
I don’t specifically have a list of names I’d love but wouldn’t use, but there are certain names that won’t make the top of my list just because I don’t think they’d travel well (usually my biggest issue with a name).
@twentyeightist-- I was just about to post mine, [name]Severine[/name] and [name]Reverie[/name], then I saw your list! [name]Lennox[/name] too, although that one is more usable to me.
I think [name]Morrison[/name], [name]Marius[/name] and [name]Freya[/name] are definitely usable. [name]Fox[/name] could be a great alternative to Vox, and I actually like [name]Poet[/name] and [name]Serenade[/name].
My names:
Boys:
[name]Ocean[/name] (I [name]LOVE[/name] the sound, but Idk if it usable)
Beowulf (for the longest, I was going to name my future son this, but it has been demoted to middle name status)
[name]Othello[/name] (I’m black, so I’m thinking this isn’t usable)
[name]Thor[/name] (definitely would have to be in the middle)
Girls
Dovasary (love this name, but like Beowulf, it has been put on the middle name list)
[name]Antigone[/name] (I may use this one, but I have been getting a lot of backlash about how “horrible” it is)
Scheherazade (lovely name, but so much of a mouthful)
[name]Echo[/name] (would use this in the middle. In the first spot? Idk…)
Yes I have a few bizarre ones
Girls: shiva, pria, amerie, amaryllis, [name]Havana[/name], Chenoa
Boys: [name]Chevy[/name], [name]Brychan[/name], aspen, halen, carwyn
uniquenamelover: [name]Antigone[/name] and Scheherezade (especially the Shaharazad spelling) are on my list, too! I’m also really liking [name]Echo[/name] at the moment.
