Does Honor [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] sound like a sentence/phrase?

I don’t think so! [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] seems more like a name than a word to me. No one really says ‘’[name_u]Valentine[/name_u]‘’ as a word, it’s always ‘’[name_u]Valentine[/name_u]‘s [name_u]Day[/name_u]’'. It’s a very pretty combo, I love [name_u]Honor[/name_u].

I think it works. [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_m]Valentin[/name_m] or [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_m]Valentino[/name_m] would be amazing as well!

It’s definitely usable, but maybe another variant of [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] would better? Like @may.rose suggested, [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_m]Valentin[/name_m] maybe? Or if you’re looking for a girls’ name, [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]?

As others have said, it’s a tad wordy, but absolutely not too much. In fact, I think it’s the perfect balance. I absolutely love [name_u]Honor[/name_u], but always struggle thinking of middles. I get tripped up because [name_u]Honor[/name_u] with a traditional name then sounds like part of a sentence: I want to honor [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] or we should honor [name_f]Jane[/name_f], etc. So I think that [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is actually perfect! It completely sidesteps that problem in my mind. I would use it in a heartbeat!

It’s a little wordy, but I don’t think it’s that bad.

If you’re looking for non-wordy alternatives, all these are similar:

  • [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]
  • [name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] (AW-nuh)
  • [name_f]Hana[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] (HAW-nuh)
  • Anya Valentine
  • [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
  • [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]
  • [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]

That said, I do think [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is usable, it just is on the wordier side of such. I do prefer Honor on a boy, but that’s neither here nor there.

Thanks, I’m considering [name_u]Honor[/name_u] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] as a gender neutral combo though :slight_smile:
