I voted for [name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name], [name]Jack[/name] is a more classic name that will grow well with a child.

I love the spunky [name]Jack[/name] with [name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Hawthorne[/name] makes it even more awesome! I can’t get passed the trendy feel of [name]Hudson[/name] and the “Hud” beginning (rhymes with dud, mud, thud etc…). I just don’t find the name very attractive. [name]Jack[/name] just seems like the “natural” brother for your girls.

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] all the way. [name]Hudson[/name] is trendy and will be dated in 10 years. And I agree with [name]Mischa[/name] that it just isn’t a very nice-sounding name. I don’t really get the appeal. Your other children are [name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]? [name]Jack[/name] is perfect!

Another vote for [name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name]; [name]Hudson[/name] is just too harsh sounding. I think it would work better as [name]James[/name] [name]Hudson[/name] instead of [name]Hudson[/name] [name]James[/name], but [name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] still trumps that.

Definitely [name]Jack[/name], not a fan of [name]Hudson[/name]. [name]Jack[/name] is spunky and fits well with your girls names, and [name]Hawthorne[/name] is a handsome middle name.

I love [name]Jack[/name] with [name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]! So cute!

Thanks for all the feedback and the votes, it’s been really helpful so far. So many votes for [name]Jack[/name]! This whole time I have been leaning towards trying to find a name that is a little less common than [name]Jack[/name], but maybe classic and simple is the way to go, considering our girls’ names. Also once we paired [name]Jack[/name] with the middle name [name]Hawthorne[/name], I sort of fell in love with the combination [name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name]. I’m thinking this might be the name. Thank you again for the help!

Definitely [name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name]! I don’t understand the appeal of [name]Hudson[/name] at all.

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] is a great combo!

(I didn’t see your poll a few days ago, but I like [name]August[/name] with [name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] a lot! What was your middle name choice for [name]August[/name]?)

Edited: I looked back at a few of your threads and see it would likely be [name]August[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name]. That is also a gorgeous combo. I think you should do a poll between [name]August[/name] and [name]Jack[/name]!

boyandgirl- thanks for the feedback!
aguafresca- thank you, I think I will do a poll between [name]August[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] pretty soon! Good idea!!

My vice against [name]Jack[/name] is that it is in the top 10. [name]Hawthorne[/name] [name]James[/name] would be cute.

I think [name]Jack[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] stands head and shoulders above the other.

corajsb- thanks for the feedback!

lerenard- thanks for the feedback. My biggest problem with the name [name]Jack[/name] is definitely the popularity. But I didn’t think it was a top ten name, at least not here in the US. I believe it’s ranked number 48 for 2012… Unless I’m missing something? I know when you combine it with all the Jacksons and Johns that go by [name]Jack[/name] as a nn, it becomes even more overused. But still [name]Jack[/name] itself is not in the top 10. But definitely more popular than I would like. However my husband is pretty set on a plain and simple name so I would have to push him to agree on anything outside of [name]Jack[/name] or [name]James[/name]. He vetoes pretty much every name I suggest. Thank you again for your feedback!
