I’m reworking my top list for boys, and I’m unsure of which combo is the best out of the three. I wouldn’t nickname ANY of the 3, so nicknames won’t bother me.
My personal favorite is [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] would be very handsome also. All three are very nice.
My favorite would be [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is nice as well. Nothing wrong with [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], but I don’t really feel like it fits with your other names, and I don’t particularly like [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] or [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], they’re nms.
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is my hands down favorite. Mostly because it combines two names I really like. I think [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] is just a little too plain of a first name for me and I don’t think people with be able to pronounce [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] without help. I feel bad for kids with names that people can’t say.
I knew a very artistic and creative male named [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] in my youth so I like [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] as a first name the best. The back-to-back n’s of [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] combo aren’t ideal. Although I think they’re fine names, [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] have never been faves of mine.
Since it’s on the table, [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] is my favourite. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is second, [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is third. [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] is NMS, so I wouldn’t choose that one
I like [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] the best. I think it is classic. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is nice too, but popular near me. [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] is nms.
I would choose [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u]. [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] is a name I like a lot in full, but dislike shortened to [name_m]Matt[/name_m], so the fact that you would not shorten it has me on board.
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is a decent name, but strikes me as a tad dated.
This is probably ignorant, but [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] strikes me as a girl’s name.
I actually teach a little 5 year old named [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], and one time, someone did call him [name_m]Matt[/name_m], his reply was ‘No, I’m [name_m]Matthew[/name_m].’. I don’t mind the nn [name_m]Matt[/name_m], but it seems really dated to me, I know a lot of them between the ages of 8 and 47, most of them falling between 17 and 26 though - making it a 80’s/90’s thing.
I like [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] the best, with [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] as a runner-up. I used to love [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] about 10 years ago, but I’ve just gotten sick of it. The more I hear it, the more I get tired of hearing it, and the more it seems to grow in popularity in my area. And the same with [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. I don’t find it classic anymore–just really dated and boring. And [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] seems to be a super common combo. I love [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] for a boy, and [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is super cool. Something seemed off about it when I first saw it, but the more I look at it, the more I love it. I do really love [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], though, and have loved it for years. I love him as a character from the Bible–[name_m]Jesus[/name_m]’ disciple–and I would love to meet a little [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]. I’m not the hugest fan of [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], but it is nice. I would love to see [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. I think as they are, [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] gets my vote, but if [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] had a different middle, I’d easily opt for that instead. [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Finley[/name_u]? [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]? [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]?
My dad is a [name_m]Layton[/name_m]. Other than [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_m]Hewitt[/name_m] of tennis fame, I’ve never met it heard if another of either spelling. I may be biased, but I love the name and it’s my favorite of your options.
