We have a 10 month old son named [name]Harrison[/name] and he’ll have a new baby brother or sister this [name]September[/name]. I’ve posted a few earlier posts but I keep going back and fourth with boys names.
I think our top 3 boys names to go with [name]Harrison[/name] are:
[name]Wyatt[/name] (I love the country feel of this name since we’re looking to live in the country, what do you think of when you hear this name?)
[name]Noah[/name] (I keep going back and fourth with this name. I like it but wonder if it’s too soft for our personalities.)
[name]Liam[/name] (love this name but it was #1 in 2011 in [name]Canada[/name]!)
I also had [name]Maxwell[/name] for awhlie, but sat with it and feel like I want something more than just “max”. It’s just too generic I think and he’ll be called [name]Max[/name] right away, not [name]Maxwell[/name].
If you have any other suggestions, please share! Thank you!
My favorite of your list is [name]Noah[/name], I love it.
[name]Wyatt[/name] would be next, it’s cute.
[name]Liam[/name] is last for me, I have never seen the appeal of this name…
But although I love [name]Noah[/name] and just like [name]Wyatt[/name], I adore [name]Max[/name]! Any chance it’s still an option?
They will all go great with [name]Harrison[/name] though, does he get called [name]Harry[/name]? Cause [name]Harry[/name] and [name]Max[/name] are awesome together!!
I like [name]Wyatt[/name]. It’s a great name that’s not often heard anymore. [name]Noah[/name] is a ok, but I know at least 5 little [name]Noah[/name]'s born in the last few years, and [name]Liam[/name] is so popular it’s already irritating. [name]Max[/name] is a great name as well, but I’m not a fan of [name]Maxwell[/name].
I like them all! In general, I like [name]Noah[/name] best–I love how soft/gentle it is, and I can really see a [name]Noah[/name] being anyone. I’ve loved the name for years (probably close to 10 years by now), but it just seems to get trendier and trendier as it climbs the charts. It ranks number 5 in the US for last year, and it just doesn’t seem quite as special anymore. I know several Noahs. If that doesn’t bother you, I would totally use it–it’s such a wonderful name and [name]Harrison[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] sound great together. Plus, the Biblical [name]Noah[/name] is a pretty great namesake, if you’re Christians.
Personally, I would go for [name]Wyatt[/name], though–[name]Harrison[/name] and [name]Wyatt[/name] have a great cowboyish/country vibe together, and I like that [name]Wyatt[/name] is under the radar just enough, just like [name]Harrison[/name]. I just can’t get over [name]Noah[/name]'s popularity.
[name]Noah[/name] is my favourite of the four names but I’m not so sure with brother [name]Harrison[/name]. [name]Liam[/name] seems too short to go with [name]Harrison[/name] too so despite it only being one letter more I think [name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Maxwell[/name] are perfect with [name]Harrison[/name]. Like another poster said if [name]Harrison[/name] goes by [name]Harry[/name] then [name]Harry[/name] and [name]Max[/name] are fab together!
If not [name]Maxwell[/name], then [name]Wyatt[/name] again is a gorgeous pick.
[name]Harrison[/name] and [name]Wyatt[/name] would make a handsome duo! I like the fact that they’re both surnames with double letters in them which would be a subtle link between the siblings.
I do like [name]Wyatt[/name] a lot but part of me is wondering if I like the ‘sound’ of “[name]Wyatt[/name]”. Maybe I’m reading too much into it. I like the idea of “[name]Wyatt[/name]” and how it’s spelt and how it’s country boy, but not sure about the sound of it. Is it just me or does it not sound like a name? Like it’s more of a noise ‘yyyy-it’!? lol I’m just bummed cause I’m not head over heals for any names like I was for [name]Harrison[/name]. These top 3 names are the ones I ‘like’ best, but I feel like I should [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] a name… Any thoughts/advice?
