[name]Hi[/name], I’m expecting a baby in February and we have narrowed down our list to 3 boys and 3 girls names (don’t know what we’re having) So, I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on our choices. Combos aren’t set in stone, we would like to use an M middle name to honour family. So let me know what you think! What’s your favourite? are there any problems with any of them? [name]Do[/name] they sound good with my daughter’s name ([name]Ainslea[/name] pr. [name]Ainsley[/name])? Thanks in advance for your input!
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] (birthstone for Feb.)
[name]Ember[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]
I really like [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name]. Very sweet. Although [name]Ainslea[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] work very well together, too. [name]Aurora[/name] still gets my vote, but [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] is a close second!
I just looked at your boys’ list, so I thought I’d move on to your girls’.
I think that [name]Ainslea[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name] are very well matched, though again, you’d be starting an A-theme! [name]Just[/name] something to keep in mind.
I think my favourite combination is [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name]. It’s unique and beautiful, just like [name]Ainslea[/name]. [name]Ainslea[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] make great sister names. They’re both cute and Scottish!
As I said on your boys name post, I adore [name]Rowan[/name] on either a boy or girl. I just love it! Goes great with your daughter’s name too! [name]Aurora[/name] is nice and so is [name]Ember[/name]. [name]Just[/name] prefer [name]Rowan[/name]!
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] (birthstone for Feb.)
[name]Ember[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]
As soon as I read it I just wanted to put ‘name your child [name]Rowan[/name]’ in capital letters, with exclamation points. [name]Rowan[/name] is my name, I love it completely. But looking at your favourites and thinking non-biasedly [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] is still my favourite, I think it fits well with your daughters name, with them both being unisex. I think [name]Aurora[/name] is too girly and princessy to match well with [name]Ainslea[/name]. And again [name]Ember[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] just reminds me of Astor [name]Morgan[/name].
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name] - Aurura just feels too girly and frilly alongside the unisex [name]Ainslea[/name]. [name]Marley[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] would go better.
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] - I like [name]Rowan[/name] on both genders and I feel it’s better on a girl given you’ve already got one daughter with a unisex name.
[name]Ember[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] - I prefer [name]Morgan[/name] for a boy, and I prefer [name]Amber[/name] to [name]Ember[/name].
Wow, so many great thoughts! Thank you all!
I just wanted to say one thing about [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name] is that I like how [name]Ainslea[/name] [name]Elenore[/name] is a cute-spunky first name with a more regal-beautiful middle and then [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name] is a regal first with a cute-spunky middle, I thought it was a neat balance.
It seems like most people really like [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name]. I’m glad it’s so popular, I really love it as well, but my husband isn’t quite as sold on it. I just think its so pretty though. And on both this and my boys list everyone seems to agree that [name]Ainslea[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] make a really good pair.
I have never seen [name]Dexter[/name] so I never made the connection with the Astor [name]Morgan[/name] character, but that’s sort of funny that I matched [name]Morgan[/name] with a similar name on both lists.
[name]Ember[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is my favorite. [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name] is too “in the mouth” for me (I think it’s all the R’s) and I’m just not a huge fan of [name]Amethyst[/name].
Playing around a bit:
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Marley[/name] “releases the mouth”, but it is a very masculine name. [name]Ainslea[/name] [name]Elenore[/name] is very feminine and romantic. Now that I think about it, although I’m not personally a fan of [name]Amethyst[/name], it does fit nicely with your daughter’s name image…what about [name]Ember[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name]? Then you’d have initials A.E. and E.A. (of course, if you had another you’d have to figure out if you want to continue the pattern)
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] is my favorite. [name]Rowan[/name] has always been a favorite name of mine and I love whimsical/uncommon middle names.
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Marley[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Amethyst[/name] are my two favourites off your list of three. [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] both go beautifully with [name]Ainslea[/name].
I don’t personally like the name [name]Rowan[/name] that much, but I think it sounds the best with [name]Ainslea[/name]. I think [name]Amethyst[/name] is a great middle name. My favorite would be [name]Aurora[/name] and I think it goes just fine with [name]Ainslea[/name] too.
