top 3 (maybe 4) saint names!

Thanks to my poll, your help and a lot of discussing we have chose our top 3 boys names…

[name]Theon[/name]
[name]Cassian[/name]

We aslo discovered a new one… Everild… nn [name]Ever[/name]… WDYT???

We will go in with 3 of each gender and decide when he/she is born!
(which could be any day now the doc says!!!)

What do you think of our final 3???

middle names will be chosen from family names… [name]Matthias[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Patrick[/name], [name]Robert[/name], [name]Anthony[/name]… which goes best with each??

Our last name is 2 syllables and quite common! Starts with J

I have to say that im glad you are going with a bit more familiar choices…

I like all of them… especially since they have more common Nicknames…

in order i like [name]Blane[/name], [name]Cassian[/name], [name]Theon[/name] then Everild… i have [name]Blane[/name] on my [name]LONG[/name] list!

For middle names i would say…

[name]Cassian[/name] [name]William[/name]
[name]Theon[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]
Everild [name]Anthony[/name]

I was going to say [name]Cassian[/name] [name]Robert[/name]… but for some reason [name]CASH[/name] and [name]ROB[/name] dont seem like a good nn match! lol!

[name]Blane[/name] I think works with all the possible middle names.

This is how I like them (it was VERY hard)

  2. [name]Theon[/name] – Theon Matthias and Theon Patrick
  3. [name]Blane[/name] – Blane William and Blane Anthony
  4. Everild – Everild Matthias

I like [name]Cassian[/name] best of the three; [name]Cassian[/name] [name]Matthias[/name] I just adore!

My favourites are [name]Theon[/name] and [name]Cassian[/name]. I don’t like [name]Blane[/name].

I like Everild, but it sounds a little feminine to my ear. Maybe because I think emerald, I’m not sure.

I am thrilled to see this revised list. I applaud the way you have taken the thoughts of many and reconsidered your name selection by chosing names that are more famililar yet still unique and meaningful.
I don’t think you can go wrong with [name]Blane[/name], [name]Theon[/name] or [name]Cassian[/name].
[name]One[/name] comment on Everild- it seems similar to the increasingly popular name [name]Everly[/name] used for girls (especially nn [name]Ever[/name]) so it is a name your little man may not appreciate.

[name]Cassian[/name] is definitely my favourite so handsome, and to be honest it works well with most of the middle names excluding [name]Anthony[/name] because of the -an ending and the beginning of [name]Anthony[/name]. [name]Cassian[/name] [name]William[/name] and [name]Cassian[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] are my favourites, so handsome!

[name]Blane[/name] would be my second favourite, sounds very modern, strong, masculine etc. I’d consider spelling it [name]Blaine[/name] as that’s how I normally see it and [name]Blane[/name]/[name]Blaine[/name] [name]Matthias[/name] would be amazing!!

[name]Theon[/name] is OK but I much prefer [name]Theodore[/name].

I don’t like Everild but like the nn [name]Ever[/name] but would probably be considered girly.

[name]Blane[/name] is nice, not as unique sounding and I once knew a girl [name]Blane[/name] if that means anything to you, I am not into unisex names at all, so that would bother me. It works with all the middles [name]IMO[/name]
