[name]RACHEL[/name] [name]ZOE[/name] [name]EVANGELINE[/name]!
~[name]Jasmine[/name]
Wow, [name]Clara[/name]'s a huge hit! Any reason why, I wonder?
I’m not ready to commit or nix any of them yet, I don’t think… I really love them all. I’m just a bit surprised [name]Posy[/name] and [name]Zoe[/name] aren’t getting as much love, I figured it’d be a fairly even poll.
I think some of us are just wary with the [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zoe[/name] association
Pick [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]!!! I’m a little teeny bit biased I guess, but it’s just SO beautiful! (You other combinations are really pretty too btw).
I voted [name]Zoe[/name] because I liked your reasoning behind it. Plus it’s a cool, fun name =)
I almost voted for [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] because I think it’s such a smooth flowing combination and all 3 names are pretty.
But I decided on [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] because it has more spunk and fun and both [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name] are very stately. I think it perks up the combination.
I chose [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] because I love all three of those names so much, but [name]Zoe[/name] and [name]Posy[/name] are adorable fun names as well. My second choice would be [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Posy[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] because [name]Posy[/name] is so underused and sweet.
lol, I do realize it’s a problem. It didn’t bother me at all to begin with, and then I started noticing it because that’s what others’ noticed, but now I’m back to not caring. It has a lot of meaning to me, outside of the association to her, and I’ve never watched her show and really wouldn’t even recognize her if she stood right in front of me. Besides, from what I hear about her, I hope she’s a passing fad, and by the time I actually name a child [name]Rachel[/name], hopefully the association would be gone. I suppose an alternative might be [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Sofia[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], although that’s getting on the long side. [name]Sophia[/name] was another of the first Greek words I learned (seriously, haha, I think “zoe” and “sophia” were on my vocabulary list my first day of Greek class!), so that has just as much meaning as [name]Zoe[/name] and I like that they both have great meanings–life and wisdom. I guess, in a way, [name]Evangeline[/name] could sort of be a nod to that, as the Greek word it came from, “euangelion”, was another of the first words I learned.
[name]Even[/name] if people are put off by [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zoe[/name], though, that doesn’t explain why [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Posy[/name] isn’t getting much love. [name]Posy[/name] is so sweet and spunky and honestly, it sums up my memories of my mom completely, lol. I came home yesterday and what was she doing? Gardening. Of course. haha. Maybe [name]Posy[/name]'s just too nicknamey for some? Or a bit of an acquired taste?
I do like [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] a lot–it was originally my [name]Rachel[/name] combo–but I had the feeling that it was off and considered several other options. I feel like I’m coming back around to it, but I’m still not sure it’s perfect and I do still really love [name]Zoe[/name] and [name]Posy[/name]. The other option for [name]Posy[/name] is [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Posy[/name] [name]Grace[/name]–is that any better? I thought I might prefer [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Posy[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], but I think I like them both just about equally.
I picked the [name]Zoe[/name] combination; I’d never heard of [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zoe[/name] before saw comments here and Googled the name. I thought [name]Clara[/name] was a bit dull, [name]Posy[/name] slightly troublesome to say, and [name]Zoe[/name] just right. It brings just a little bit of zip to the combination, and besides the meaning is kind of cool alongside [name]Evangeline[/name].
I think your problem with the [name]Rachel[/name] combo may be using [name]Evangeline[/name] as a second middle. Any way you look at it, you’re getting into a good number of syllables; and all of the options you listed on your poll end in a vowel which always makes for a tricky pass from one name to the next. If you tried a clipped little one-syllable name you might find more love in general – something like [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], perhaps, or if you don’t like alliteration you could shorten [name]Clara[/name] down to [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Claire[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] or swipe a name from a different combo for [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Kate[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]. [name]Eve[/name] would give you the same meaning as [name]Zoe[/name], and though I wouldn’t recommend using [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name] in the same combination, it’s an idea for moving that meaning to another combo if you want to keep it and [name]Zoe[/name] doesn’t work elsewhere. [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Eve[/name] [name]Camille[/name], maybe, which I actually like very much. But you’ll have to play with the combos as you please, as I never can remember which initials you’re wanting to keep, lol.
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Posy[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is simply darling. I really like that one.
