I think we’re getting somewhere… We’ve finally narrowed it down to a top 3!
In no particular order:
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f]/Nathalia ____
What are your thoughts? Which would you go with, why?
Hmm I’m going to go against the majority and say my favorite as a sister to your daughter is [name_f]Natalia[/name_f]. You seemed so excited in a previous post and I think it just sounds perfect. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is my very close second pick. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is a beautiful combo as well but I would personally eliminate as it shares the v sound in the first name and I like sibling names to have distinct sounds.
With [name_f]Natalia[/name_f], maybe a middle with another floral connection?
If [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is an honor or important to you I think [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] works too, just does not flow as nicely as [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. Anyway, whatever you decide all 3 options are stunning! Good luck!
Josephine [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is very pretty, flows well, and everyone seems to like it!
I personally also like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]!
Natalia is easily my favorite name from the list but I also think it’s the perfect fit with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]! Maybe [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]?
I always feel like there’s no point of me commenting on names that aren’t my style just to tell the person “hey I don’t like these names” but then I guess all feedback can be useful.
So, in sum hahah none hit the spot for me, but [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is soo pretty and not overused at all and maybe could be a first? [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] or [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] “CJ” could be cute. As is, I guess I’d vote [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
commenting on my own post because I just realized that [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] would share an ending sound too hahaha but honestly it’s still my favorite choice. It just pops!
I’d say that you could ask yourself if popularity bothers you, but I kind of think that all three of these names are equal on that scale. Heard here & there, but not terribly over done. [name_f]Do[/name_f] they all sound pretty good w/your ln? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like all of the possible nns? These are at least something to consider.
Here are my thoughts:
Josephine [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-This is my favorite. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is smart, classic, feminine & just has a sweet air about it. I’m not personally a huge fan of the nns, although [name_u]Josie[/name_u] is growing on me. It just kind of bothers me that I can’t decide if it’s [name_m]Joe[/name_m]-zee or [name_m]Joe[/name_m]-see. I like the nn [name_f]Posey[/name_f]!
Eva [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]-[name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is a good solid simple smart feminine name. And paired w/Celeste is a lovely combo. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is sweet as a nn, but [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is sooo popular.
Natalia/Nathalia-I’d stick w/Natalia for simplicity. I can’t quite get on board w/this name, but I’m not sure why. It just sounds a little dark. I like just [name_f]Talia[/name_f].
Though my pick is [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], I cannot seem to get DH on board. So I’m afraid it may be time to discard it in hopes of coming to an agreement.
I’ve decided against [name_f]Eva[/name_f] because to me it sounds so blah next to [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
Natalia is the winner here but I’m personally not in love with it and I haven’t found a middle name [name_m]Ive[/name_m] really liked with it.
Eva / [name_f]Ava[/name_f] is very popular right now
Josephine [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful! I have several names on my list for notable historical feminists and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_m]Butler[/name_m] is one of them
I also love [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] / [name_f]Nathalia[/name_f] I’ll use one spelling for my middle name suggestions, but I really love both!
