What are your thoughts on our top 3 boy name combos? Could you see them working together as a sib set?

They definitely work as a set! [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is my favorite. I like the nicknames, esp [name_u]Sol[/name_u] and [name_m]Solly[/name_m] :slight_smile: I also like [name_u]Hezekiah[/name_u], [name_u]Henry[/name_u] isn’t my fav middle with it personally! I think I’d do Hezzy as a nn :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

[name_u]Hezekiah[/name_u] [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is zippy and clunky-cute - I like the nickname options too

[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is a bit of a mouthful for me - I like both names though, so maybe I can let that slide :slight_smile: It does have a kind of old fashioned elegance and charm

And as a sibset, they do work well :slight_smile:

[name_u]Love[/name_u] them together! [name_f]My[/name_f] only critique is that [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is a lot of name. I think [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] flows better and I know you had [name_u]August[/name_u] picked out originally, but switched it to better match the brothers’ first names. I think with that middle name, I’d switch it back to [name_u]August[/name_u]. If you’re going to be using nicknames most of the time anyway, I don’t think it’ll matter too much that [name_u]August[/name_u] doesn’t match the other boys perfectly. [name_u]Sol[/name_u], [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] are perfect together! :heart_eyes:

Thank you! I agree [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is a bit of a mouthful, I may have to work on that combo.

Yes, I did change [name_u]August[/name_u] to [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] to fit better but I do agree that [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is a bit of a mouthful… we like [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] and [name_u]Troy[/name_u] as middle names so maybe [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] or [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_u]Troy[/name_u] would be better.

[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is my favorite! I’d even be inclined to use this myself, it’s so rich in history and could easily be a name from the [name_u]Rome[/name_u] of classical antiquity. It sounds very handsome, a little stoic, yet it carries the warmth of sunshine with it at the same time. It gives off a feeling of being a very proud name :slight_smile:

[name_m]Ah[/name_m] your options are so nice! [name_u]Strong[/name_u], handsome, familiar while unique. They would make an amazing sibset! Really really love them

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. I really love them too and I’m glad it’s a cohesive sibset. Each of the first names hold special meaning to us and each middle name is a family name.
