Amorette is just so lovely and romantic - by far my favourite on your list. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f].
I am not a fan of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] or [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f].
[name_f]My[/name_f] absolutely favorite is [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] gorgeous.
Hmmmm… tough one. All your names are really cool but I’d have to go with Amorette, the meaning is absolutely gorgeous. I’m a bit bias though 'cause the [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] spelling has been on my list for a [i]very[i] long time.
Well when I first suggested it, my boyfriend wanted it to be spelled Ameretta, which I don’t think is even a name. So Amorette, possibly even Amoretta, is our compromise. Plus, I appreciate the “fuller” look that it gives the name.
I’m not usually drawn to such romantic, feminine names, but Amorette is so beautiful. I don’t think Irene goes too well with it, though. Actually, the only ones that do (imo) are Mirabelle and Aurora. Have you thought of using a variation of Irene, or something similar?
I can’t get on board with Amorette, sorry! I just think of amoretto. The other three though are super awesome! I am unsure if I can pick one, they’re all so fab. I think for flow I would say [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f].
I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]! [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is my second choice, then [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f], then Amorette. But [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] are way in front of the other two.
I think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is really nice! (Better than [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Serene[/name_f])
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is nice as well.
[name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is nice.
Amorette [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is meh, Amorette [name_f]Irena[/name_f] would be nicer.
See, I worried that [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], with all the Rs, sounded like I was talking with cotton balls in my mouth.
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]! It’s the one you say you love the most, plus I’ve always like this one. [name_f]Mirabell[/name_f] would be my second choice, [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] third. They are all pretty names. Not a big fan of Amorette, it’s too much like amaretto for me, and I generally don’t like the Am_ names anyway.
I totally didn’t even think of the alcohol with that name until you guys brought it up. I’m not sure I will get rid of it yet though, because it is rare for him to discuss a name with me like he did with Amorette, but I will definitely keep that in mind and bring it up with him to see if it is a deterrent to him as well.
I love all the names on your list. If you wanted to adjust the flow in regards to [name_f]Irene[/name_f], you could pick a name like [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] or [name_u]Paz[/name_u], as they both share the same meaning (I don’t know if that helps at all?). You have great taste. However, I think Amorette is the most original, and not overly girly (but I love girly names). [name_m]Just[/name_m] my two cents. I am sure that whatever you pick shall be beautiful.
I voted for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], but then I saw that the middle name will be [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] gets my vote. It’s a lovely name.
I vote [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and a close second [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]…although I think [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] flows better with [name_f]Irene[/name_f] than [name_f]Aurora[/name_f].
I voted Amorette, but I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] as well. Amorette just makes me think of the beautiful meaning (I do a bit of [name_m]French[/name_m] in school) or Amor. It’s such a beautiful, yet underused name!
Thank you for all your opinions everyone! I really appreciate the help you have given us in working towards our baby’s name!
I voted for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f].
However, the only name I like with [name_f]Irene[/name_f] as the middle name is [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f].
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] has always seemed clunky to me, more so with [name_f]Irene[/name_f] following. I also don’t like the repetitive sounds of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] (first an R, then -een).
Amoretta I constanly misread as amaretto. That would make it a no-go for me. [name_f]Irene[/name_f] Amoretta would be better [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Also, just in case you haven’t made he connection, [name_f]Mira[/name_f] means peace just like [name_f]Irene[/name_f], so you could say that [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is already being honoured by using [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] (or my preferred version [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] or even [name_f]Mirabeau[/name_f], Mirica, [name_f]Mirna[/name_f] or Miruna).
[name_u]Love[/name_u] Amorette! I’d never heard it before, and I’d love to meet a little girl with that name.
I love [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]!
I hadn’t made the connection that [name_f]Mira[/name_f] also meant peace, so if I go with [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] I will see how my grandmother feels about it (I don’t want to say I am going to give my child your name and then alter it without some sort of heads up or seal of approval) and that might perhaps open up options for the middle name slot, which is exciting and fun for me and misery for my poor boyfriend haha. I would have to go with a middle name that has a stronger meaning to justify my use of a “cutesy” first name like that. [name_m]Just[/name_m] my personal feelings on naming a girl. It is the first gift that you give your child, and is usually lifelong, so I want to grant something more than pretty or cute.
