Top: (1 being my favorite)

  1. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - this seems so seamless and smooth to me. Very elegant and balanced to me. [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love.
  2. [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose - spunky and fun, yet balanced. I love [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] for a girl! Especially with the beauty of Wildrose.
  3. [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - a longer name, yet it just rolls off the tongue. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nickname “[name_u]Story[/name_u]”. Sounds like a princess name :star_struck:
  4. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] - I typically don’t like [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] but I just love this combo! [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t know why, it just works for me.
  5. [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] - so cute!! I’m not sure how well it would age, but I love the overall look and spunky vibes.

Bottom: (5 being my least favorite)

  1. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - very classic, just not very exciting to me
  2. [name_f]Effie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - not a huge fan of either of these names
  3. [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] - I don’t like the flow of this name. I feel like [name_f]Clover[/name_f] should have a longer middle name, maybe. [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]?
  4. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] - I really like both of these names, just not together. Maybe the names are too different? I can’t put my finger on why I don’t like it.
  5. [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - I just don’t like the flow or sound of this. Maybe [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]?

beautiful list!!!

top 5:
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - literary, sweet, warm - I love it! I actually have [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] on my list, so that might be why!
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - this is so pretty. I especially like the use of [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] here, it’s so soft with [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] - so cute! I love both names, and together they sound like a storybook character!
[name_f]Adaline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - this is beautiful. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] is classic and soft, and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is strong and cool.
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose - really like [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] on a girl! it seems fresh, and there are so many cute nn options. Wildrose is stunning, and pairs perfectly with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]!

I also really like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Arianell[/name_f], [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]!

bottom:
[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - love [name_f]Luna[/name_f], not a big fan of [name_f]Delphi[/name_f]
[name_f]Astoria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - this one flows nicely, I just personally dont like [name_f]Astoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] - not a fan of either name, sorry! I’d like [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] more!

Also, I really love [name_f]Effie[/name_f], just not paired with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]!

[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]: I like [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and I like [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], but I don’t like [name_f]Delphi[/name_f]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]: I don’t strongly dislike this, but I like [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] more than [name_f]Effie[/name_f].
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose: I’ve never been a huge fan of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] for girls
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Arianell[/name_f]: I love [name_f]Arianell[/name_f], but at least where I live, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is super common and overused.

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]–this one just sounds soft and sweet
[name_f]Adaline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]–there’s something very sophisticated about this one I like
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]–I like the flowery femininity of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] paired with the unisex [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]

Bottom 3
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose–I know [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is gaining popularity as a unisex name, but it is 100% boy to me and always will be
[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]–[name_m]Just[/name_m] NMS. I personally don’t think [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] has a very nice sound.
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]–[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] has too much of an old lady vibe for me, personally, and [name_u]James[/name_u] is another name that is 100% boy for me and I cannot see it on a girl

I love your list overall–I’m getting very sunshine-y, happy vibes!

Top:
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]–Maybe the sunshine-y-est, happiest of them all! This is one of those names that just makes me want to smile.
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]–You may have just sold me on [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]. I’ve never been the biggest fan, but this is combo beyond delightful. [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love!
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]–I’m loving the balance of unisex, tailored, surname-y [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] with the lovely [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

Bottom:
[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]–This just feels a little incomplete to me for some reason.
[name_f]Effie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]–I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Effie[/name_f], sadly. I do like the balance of light, youthful [name_f]Effie[/name_f] with longer, grounded [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] though!
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]–[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] just feels a little bit stiff to me, especially compared to some of the other names on your list. I do love the meaning though!

Another random thought: [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is absolutely charming, and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] is a great middle, but I’m not sure I love them together. I think maybe I prefer [name_f]Clover[/name_f] with something a little longer? I love tons of possible [name_f]Clover[/name_f] combos using names from your list: [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Adaline[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]… I could definitely see myself picking [name_f]Clover[/name_f] as one of my favorites from your list in a different combo!

Picking a top 3-5 was so hard! I love pretty much all of them!

Top:
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - wouldn’t like [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] as sisters, tho
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]
-I love [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] as well, but I feel like the long O sound in [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] makes it a bit overkill as a combo

Bottom:
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose - love Wildrose, just not a fan of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] on a girl
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Arianell[/name_f] - [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is sweet, not a fan of [name_f]Arianell[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] - love both names, just not together
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] - both names are great, but I don’t love the V and F sounds together

Overall, a pretty great list!

I know :sob: I adore [name_f]Delphi[/name_f], but I am completely in love with [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and will probably use it for a future daughter, which means [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] will be out :broken_heart:

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] list overall! I had a hard time choosing my top 3

Top:

  1. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - This is adorable!
  2. [name_f]Effie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - I like how spunky [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is balanced with classic [name_f]Caroline[/name_f].
  3. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] - I’ve been loving [name_u]Eden[/name_u] lately (and nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is too cute) and [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] is a fun middle!

Bottom:

  1. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] - I’m just not the biggest fan of [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl, but I do think it flows really well.
  2. [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - Again, the flow is lovely but [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] just isn’t my style.
  3. [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] - I think I would prefer [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] to [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] but I do like the sound of the combo.

  3. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]
  4. [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]

[name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Arianell[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u], [name_f]Effie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] are really beautiful! I can’t decide which ones I prefer!
[name_f]Clover[/name_f], [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Arianell[/name_f] sound magical!
[name_f]Fae[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Effie[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] are simple and delicate but really sweet!
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] look regal and sophisticated middle names.
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] sound distinct and unexpected.

Bottom 4 (not in order):
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose - I looove Wildrose, but I don’t like [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] for a girl.
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] - I don’t care about [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] but [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is a fantastic middle name. The combo is cute, but unfortunately I’m not sure about it.
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - I don’t like [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], I’m sorry, but [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is a gorgeous name
[name_f]Delphi[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] looks incomplete, in my opinion, [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] or [name_f]Delphina[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] would be stunning! [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] or [name_f]Effie[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f], maybe?

Top 3:

  1. Delilah [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]----[name_m]Just[/name_m] has a very relaxed and lovely flow.
  2. Clover [name_f]Fae[/name_f]—Very energetic and perky!
  3. Marlowe [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]–nice contrast between unisex/girly. [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is very cute too, but it just barely got edged out by the [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] option. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] is super nice, too.

Bottom 3:

  1. Elliott Wildrose—[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] just sounds too masculine for my tastes.
  2. Ottilie [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]—[name_m]Just[/name_m] has an odd sound to me.
  3. Lily [name_f]Arianell[/name_f]—nothing at all wrong with it. It’s just there a lot of [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-type names out there these days.

You’re very good at making stunning combos, by the way!

Faves:

  • [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - everything about this name is gorgeous! [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] softens the more sirenesque associations of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] into something dreamy and bohemian. The combination fully engages my synesthesia and gives me pastel pinks and yellows with imagery of dandelion fluff, white cotton dresses, and golden evening sunshine in a field of wildflowers.
  • [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f] - sweet, spunky, and precocious, like a saucy flower fairy! I get a soft pink with blue undertones, spring green, and white and gold shapes like many-pointed stars, with imagery of tiny fairies drinking from dewdrops or sleeping inside flowers whose petals close for the night.
  • [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Arianell[/name_f] - delicate, feminine, and fantastical! I get lots of nature imagery here, like little white bell shaped flowers, rolling green hills, and shadowy magical forests. Colors are white, cream, deep grassy green, and palest gold.

[name_f]My[/name_f] bottom votes are split between two camps. In one camp are the combos where I love one of the names passionately and dislike the other. In the second camp are the combos where I don’t have strong feelings for either of the names, so they leave me kinda meh.

Polarized:

  • [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Wildrose - Wildrose is one of those romantic, magical names that straddles the line between unique, yet wearable treasure and guilty pleasure for me. I love Wildrose so much. The lyrical tension between that wild and untamed first syllable and the delicate, dreamy second is like crack to me. Because I love this name so much, I am very turned off that she is paired with [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. Part of this is personal bias - I am a cis femme with a very masculine birth name who has hated it her whole life, so I usually dislike masculine names for girls. Part of it is synesthesia - [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] gives me lots of drab olive and yellow-brown tones, like bad camouflage, and it clashes with the rich dark green and delicate pale pink that I get from Wildrose. If you’ll indulge my tinkering, other [name_f]El[/name_f] names that are more harmonious to me would be [name_f]Ella[/name_f] Wildrose, [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] Wildrose, [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] Wildrose, [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] Wildrose, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] Wildrose, or [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] Wildrose.
  • [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - I adore [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and think she’s a fantastic fit for your style - dreamy, floral, elegant, and feminine, with a core of gentle strength. She gives me light, flowery imagery full of sunshine and flower petals drifting in a hazy breeze. By contrast, [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is heavier and more unwieldy, full of blunt edges and bold slashy colors. The back to back -owe / [name_f]Ro[/name_f]- syllables hamper the flow. I tried a few other M combos, like [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], and I think it’s actually the M that’s making it feel too heavy (synesthesia logic ). • [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] - I have personally never understood the attraction of [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] as a name, other than [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams as a namesake, but even then I never understood why they named her [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]. It feels like a regular word to me, mundane rather than magical. I like that [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] reminds me of otters, and I generally love O names, but for some reason this never appealed to me. I wish I could better articulate why.
  • [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] - I love names with starry meanings, and I’m generally all about the E names, but [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] always feels too heavy to me. It feels like I’m waiting for a lighter third syllable to come along and lift her up. [name_u]James[/name_u] doesn’t work for me at all. It’s jarring to see a name that’s all boy amidst the bouquet of traditionally feminine choices that make up the rest of your list. You have some unisex names sprinkled in, like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_u]Grey[/name_u], and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], but [name_u]James[/name_u] is as masculine as they come.

Overall, your list is a delightful profusion of dreamy bohemian wildflowers, and you have a knack for creating sunny, evocative combos. I really love your style!
