[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nia[/name_f] means Priceless one or beyond price
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] means [name_f]Goddess[/name_f] of [name_u]Wisdom[/name_u]
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] means Most [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f]
[name_f]Melina[/name_f] means [name_m]Little[/name_m] [name_f]Honey[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f]
[name_f]Stephania[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nia[/name_f] means [name_m]Crown[/name_m]
These are my top 5 names. [name_f]Stephania[/name_f] would be pronounced Stef-ah-nee-uh and named after my dad. Her middle name would be [name_u]Marie[/name_u].
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f], [name_f]Athena[/name_f], [name_f]Calista[/name_f], and [name_f]Melina[/name_f] I don’t have middle names for yet. What vibes do these names give off? I’m not sure which name I’d be leaning towards, but I’m curious of everyone’s thoughts.
Thank you! This is what I’m looking for lol. I want to know how people see these names. I know my names aren’t everyones style. I love all of these names so if we have another girl its going to be hard to decide which is best. [name_f]Calista[/name_f] I’ve had on my list since I was a teenager. [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] we have been back and forth with and obviously I like [name_f]Nia[/name_f] as a nickname lol. [name_f]Do[/name_f] any of the names give you spring or summery vibes?
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f]: [name_f]Regal[/name_f] Elegant and strong . The nickname [name_f]Nia[/name_f] is fun!
[name_f]Athena[/name_f]: Very pretty. I like the mythology association from this name. If you would want a nickname [name_f]Thea[/name_f] or [name_f]Nina[/name_f] might work. (Maybe a bit of a stretch)
[name_f]Calista[/name_f]: Fun interesting and pretty! If you would want a nickname for this one [name_f]Callie[/name_f] is cute!
[name_f]Melina[/name_f]: Sweet and pretty!
[name_f]Stephania[/name_f]: [name_f]Regal[/name_f] and elegant. [name_f]Nia[/name_f] is a fun nickname!
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is soft, timeless, and beautiful. Are you pronouncing it as an-TOE-nia or AN-tuh-nia? [name_f]Nia[/name_f] is a really cute nickname.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] is one of my all time favorite girl names. It’s strong, powerful, and badass, but also intelligent, beautiful, and striking. The only - and I mean only - drawback I have with this name is I’m not a huge fan of how popular it’s starting to become, but that’s my own personal preference.
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] is really unexpected and underrated. I slightly prefer the striking [name_f]Kalista[/name_f], but the [name_f]Calista[/name_f] has a softness to it that balances the strength of the name.
[name_f]Melina[/name_f] is really cute! It’s fun to say. This name really fits its meaning.
I have always liked [name_f]Stephania[/name_f], and [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is a nice middle with it - the combo is nice to say. It’s like a more fun, bouncy version of [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f].
Thank you! We almost named our 4th daughter [name_f]Calista[/name_f], but both sides of the family only wanted to acknowledge [name_f]Callie[/name_f] as her name and not [name_f]Calista[/name_f]. So it made me love the name less during my pregnancy unfortunately. I don’t regret my name choice because we chose Alex@ndra and it fits her to a T. I just wish I could use all my names lol. I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Nina[/name_f], but I was thinking of [name_f]Thea[/name_f] as her nickname.
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f]: charming and thoughtful
[name_f]Athena[/name_f]: witty and shining
[name_f]Calista[/name_f]: ethereal and bright
[name_f]Melina[/name_f]: mild and caring
Staphania: regal and strong
So many great names! I’m definitely biased because I’m a [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f], named after my dad. I love the idea of [name_f]Stephania[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nia[/name_f]!
These are the vibes each names gives off for me!
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] - sophisticated, intelligent
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] - strong willed, graceful
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] - funny, easy going
[name_f]Melina[/name_f] - quiet, strong, bright
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] ~ strong, regal and elegant and [name_f]Nia[/name_f] sounds so surprising as a nickname for [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] pretty unexpected choice.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] ~ absolutely gorgeous really majestic, strong and elegant.
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] ~ very pretty romantic name that feels very princessy I love the nickname [name_f]Callie[/name_f] she adds a friendly down to earth vibe
[name_f]Melina[/name_f] ~ sweet girly choice that feels fun and summery
[name_f]Stephania[/name_f] ~ I do prefer the casual friendly vibe of [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] however I can see the appeal in this flamboyant choice and I love the sentiment behind honouring your dad
In order of preference:
[name_f]Calista[/name_f]: Such a beautiful name, it’s one of my favorites as well. I don’t personally know anyone named [name_f]Calista[/name_f], so to me it is a unique name that has an elegance to it. I also love that she can go by [name_f]Callie[/name_f] if that fits at certain stages of her life.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f]: I know a girl named [name_f]Athena[/name_f], and I always thought it was a pretty name. I never heard anyone mention anything about mythology with this name, so I think it is perfectly wearable and again it is not overly popular. I like names that have power to them.
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f]: This name makes me think of royalty. Always a strong classic and [name_f]Nia[/name_f] is a cute nickname, although I love [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] by her own strong self.
[name_f]Stephania[/name_f]: Absolutely love that this name would honor your dad, and what a pretty way to honor him. [name_f]Stephania[/name_f] has such a lovely sound really, I never noticed how pretty it sounds before but I love it and I love that it has so much more strength than [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f].
[name_f]Melina[/name_f]: Soft and feminine, a lovely choice as well.
Thank you and yes she would be pronounced An-toe-nee-uh so that [name_f]Nia[/name_f] would make sense as a nickname. I have found I’m not as fond of An-tone-yuh.
We have 4 daughters already and if we have a 5th I kind of want a powerful name for her. So to me these 5 are it even though I’m not sure how powerful [name_f]Melina[/name_f] or [name_f]Calista[/name_f] are? I know they both age well. I have an ancestor name [name_f]Calesta[/name_f].
Thank you! [name_f]My[/name_f] oldest daughter is named after my husband’s dad so I’ve been considering naming one after my dad even though my younger sister is named after him as [name_f]Stephenie[/name_f]. I just haven’t bitten the bullet yet so to speak.
Thank you! I have a sister name [name_f]Stephenie[/name_f] after my dad and I’m just not as thrilled about [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] no matter how you spell it, but I do really like [name_f]Stephania[/name_f]. As you can see I like [name_f]Nia[/name_f] as a nickname. The 2 names I’m currently drawn to at the moment are [name_f]Athena[/name_f] and [name_f]Calista[/name_f]. I love both names.
Thank you for this. All the names have been on my list at some point for more than 2 years. [name_f]Calista[/name_f] has been on my list since I was a teen. Its also a family name on my side. I have an ancestor name [name_f]Calesta[/name_f].
I’ve always loved Greek Mythology. 3 of my daughters have Mythology based names. [name_f]My[/name_f] oldest doesn’t. With all 4 of my girls I have used pretty, girly names and 2 of them are strong names. So if we have a 5th it would be one of these 5 names most likely.
