Top 6 Combinations

So, I just ran these by my husband and he was very happy with them. Thought I’d do the same with you all. These are tentative picks; three boys, three girls and in order of how we would use them. Last name starts and ends with “s”, however, that doesn’t deter us from names ending in “s” since my husband is [name]Travis[/name] [name]Charles[/name].

Boys:
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name]- [name]David[/name] is his father’s name
[name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name]

Girls:
[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name]
[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]

([name]Linnea[/name], [name]Otelia[/name], [name]Jane[/name], and [name]Ruth[/name] are all family names from either side. [name]Charlotte[/name] is his favorite girls’ name and [name]Lyra[/name] has been mine for years.)

Anyway, let me know what you think.

[name]EDIT[/name]* A lot of feedback about [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name]. So thought I’d say that I agree that [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] does not sound very good together. That was sort of a filler middle name until I could find the right one, which I think I have: [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].
(Also, [name]Lyra[/name] is pronounced LIE-rah, like the constellation.)

My husband, I think, would be too sad to see [name]Charlotte[/name] go, but what do you think of [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]?

Let me know what you think.

Wow, what a great set of names!

[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] – [name]Love[/name] it! It’s my favorite on your list.
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name] – Really great!
[name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name] - Very Nice!

Another nice combo:
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]David[/name]

[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – So pretty!
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name] – Classy choice! Probably my favorite.
[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] – Very nice!

Other combo ideas:
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]

I love them all, though if it flows well I prefer [name]Ruthie[/name] to [name]Ruth[/name].

[name]Jennie[/name]!

Good to see you back again, with good news!

BOYS
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] - I know you aren’t concerned about the last name thing, but I am, slightly. Maybe it would help to know what it really is. Otherwise, I really like [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name], a lot!

[name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name] - This is a great name, strong and handsome. Would he be [name]Freddie[/name]?

[name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name] - [name]William[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] would be my pick. I know you and your husband agreed on [name]Alexander[/name] early on, but I honestly am sick and tired of [name]Alex[/name] names on either gender.

GIRLS
[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - [name]Linnea[/name] makes me said because it reminds me of the sound of [name]Lydia[/name], which is my favorite girl’s name - ever. Overall, though, it is pretty.

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name] - I love [name]Charlotte[/name] - it is one of my favorites - but [name]Otelia[/name], family name or not, reminds me of an otoscope. So, I definitely can’t say this is one of my favorites. Sorry!

[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] - [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] doesn’t have great flow - far too R heavy. [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be better, or [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be amazing! I am really starting to fall in love with [name]Lyra[/name] - it is so sweet and playful - but isn’t nearly as classic as your boy names, which worries me a bit.

Good luck!

I can understand a lot of your concerns. (They’re mine too!)

Our last name is Stevens, and that may frighten you, but I have to explain. I fell in love with [name]Nicholas[/name] a while ago. In my family, traditionally, the first boy is given the father’s first name as his middle name. So originally my first boy would have been ____ [name]Travis[/name], however, my husband does not want his name in our children’s names. It was a fight to get [name]Charles[/name]. So when I discovered [name]Nicholas[/name]. The name [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] Stevens just felt so right to me… probably as it did to my [name]MIL[/name] when she heard [name]Travis[/name] [name]Charles[/name] Stevens. It is a lot of s’s, however, he’ll probably be called [name]Nick[/name] Stevens 98% of the time anyway.

I too love [name]Frederick[/name]- however I’m much more inclined to [name]Fred[/name] than [name]Freddie[/name]. Though while he’s a baby and a toddler, I’m a little more flexible on that.

I have to say [name]William[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] is in the back of my head too. I was hoping not to have to admit this… but the reason we chose [name]Alexander[/name] for our third son or third child is… don’t hate me… so we can call him Ender. We’re both really big SF/[name]Fantasy[/name] nerds and we had a funny conversation a while ago about naming our third child (if it was a boy) Ender. Originally it was supposed to be a joke, but then we both realized that we kind of liked it; however, I came my senses a bit and realized that Ender isn’t a suitable name for an adult; so I settled on [name]Alexander[/name] with Ender as a personal family nickname. While I don’t hate [name]Alex[/name], chances are he wouldn’t be called that anyway. Though if the third thing doesn’t happen, I do like [name]William[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] just as much.

Did you say [name]Linnea[/name] makes you sad? It’s one of my absolute favorite family names and I love the story of my great grandmother, so I can’t let it go.

Also, [name]Otelia[/name] was her mother’s middle name and their story is very heartwarming. Plus, the otoscope thing doesn’t phase me at all… I had to look up what it was.

Finally, (I know, I’m writing a novel here) [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]. This took me a long time to settle on. Her name was supposed to be [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Judith[/name] [name]Linnea[/name] until my husband decided that was a mild form of torture to say. I am already honoring my great grandmother with [name]Linnea[/name], but [name]Lyra[/name] is such a hard name to find a middle name for. Most of the names I like are swimming in l’s, r’s, y’s, v’s, and s’s. It’s hard to match them up properly.

Anyway, now that you need to take a nap after reading that!, tell me what you think when you wake up.

You have picked out some wonderful names.
For boys, my favorite is [name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name]. It’s a classic, strong, great combination.
For girls, I really love [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name], but I’m not crazy about the combos you listed. I think [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] or maybe even [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Lyra[/name] would be pretty. But I prefer the former the most.

Good luck!

Hmmm…maybe you guys are right. [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is really beautiful. However, do you think that [name]Lyra[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] is a good sibling set? They’re both distinctive L names, but I fear they’re either too matchy or just plain too difficult to say together. What do you think?

Personally, I can’t see myself without either one… so I’m a little stuck.

[name]Ah[/name] I get so excited when I see my name on these boards ([name]Linnea[/name])! I love it, so I always have to tell people to use it! Lol!
I will say that [name]Lyra[/name] is also beautiful, as is [name]Charlotte[/name] even though it’s not my personal style.

My opinion is that you will have to pick between [name]Lyra[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] if you are going to use one as a first name-- they just match too much for my tastes.

Is there one or the other that seems to capture your heart even the tiniest bit more? [name]Lyra[/name] has been a favorite forever you say, so perhaps you should go with it? (As much as it pains me!)

Does your husband have a preference between the two?

I actually just spoke with him and told him all the things you guys have suggested. I asked him if he hated [name]Lyra[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] together, and he actually likes the way they sound. I’m still on the fence. They match just a little too much for my taste, but at the same time, they are both, by far, my favorite girls names. A few years ago, I would have said, hands down, that I would never get rid of [name]Lyra[/name]. Now, I find myself leaning towards [name]Linnea[/name] for a few reasons. It has such a pretty nickname ([name]Linny[/name] vs, what? Lie!? NO!). Also it has a family connection and that is So important to me.

All in all, if I had to choose right this moment, I would choose [name]Linnea[/name]. Though I hope that I would never regret that.

We were also talking about middle names. [name]Travis[/name] thinks that [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] sounds just fine, but there is something about it that doesn’t fit quite right to me. What do you think about [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Mae[/name]? [name]Mae[/name] is his grandmother’s middle name. I wanted to honor her first name: [name]Lola[/name], but [name]Travis[/name] has never been able to get over the “old lady” vibe. Go figure, right? Anyway, just wondering what you think.

Also, I’ve given some thought to [name]Charlotte[/name]'s middle name. (P.S. [name]Travis[/name] does NOT like [name]Charlotte[/name] as a middle name). But I suggested [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name] which he likes a lot. [name]Sylvie[/name] is a character from my absolute favorite book growing up; one that no one has ever heard of, and one that I plan on reading to my children constantly. I want our children to know that we put a lot of thought and care into their names.

[name]Hi[/name], [name]Jennie[/name]!

I felt like I needed to explain myself…

First of all, [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] Stevens does concern me, but I think it could be improved with a different middle name, as [name]Nicholas[/name] is so sweet. [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]David[/name] Stevens is nice!

[name]Frederick[/name] is still a favorite, but [name]Fred[/name] doesn’t appeal to me at all. However, it is obviously your decision as to what nickname your child will use. [name]Fred[/name] just seems a bit, well, old to me, and it reminds me of [name]Fred[/name] Flinstone. Ha!

[name]Alexander[/name], with the nickname Ender, is very interesting. However, to me, Ender as a nickname is like, “Hey, this is the end of us having kids, so let’s call this one Ender! Ha!” You know what I mean? [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Xander[/name], perhaps? I understand your personal attachment to Ender as a nickname, but I’m just not feeling it…

When I said that [name]Linnea[/name] made me sad, I didn’t mean that to say that the name is unattractive. On the contrary! [name]Linnea[/name] is a very pretty name, indeed! However, it reminded me of [name]Lydia[/name], and I adore [name]Lydia[/name], but [name]Linnea[/name] has that [name]Lynn[/name] sound, and [name]Lynn[/name] reminds me of my cousin, and - well that is just another story. [name]Linnea[/name] is a very feminine, sweet name, and I love that it has a connection to family for you - however, perhaps you would consider [name]Lea[/name] as a nickname as opposed to [name]Linny[/name]?

[name]Charlotte[/name] is very pretty - and I think you were considering a different middle for [name]Charlotte[/name]? Correct me if I’m wrong, though. What about [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]? Then you get [name]Ruth[/name] in there and it doesn’t ruin the flow!

As for [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], I really don’t like the flow. I know you really were liking it a lot, but I don’t think it sounds so good. Your suggestion of [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is very cute, but I would suggest using [name]Margaret[/name] to honor [name]May[/name], or even [name]Marguerite[/name]. [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] is really darling! (And, I don’t think [name]Lyra[/name] needs a nickname, so don’t worry about Lie.)

As for [name]Linnea[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name] together, they are too matchy for my personal preference, but if you and your husband aren’t bothered - though I believe you are - then go for it! If I had to choose one, I would choose [name]Lyra[/name], as I love the sweet, soft, feminine sound, but then again it has a spunky, playful feeling that really appeals to me. [name]Linnea[/name], in contrast, has a more distinctly feminine, fragile sound to me. That being said, go with the one you love most!

If I must say something, [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name] work very well together. [name]Alexander[/name] is Greek whereas [name]Lyra[/name] is Latin, so both names have a mythical feel to me - both have a classic sound, [name]Alexander[/name] more so than [name]Lyra[/name], but they work together. I forgot what your [name]Alexander[/name] middle name was, but something like [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] would be really wonderful, and I’d add [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]David[/name] in as another name to match - [name]Nicholas[/name] is Greek as well! [name]Both[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Frederick[/name] feel slightly too classic to totally work with [name]Lyra[/name] - in my personal opinion - whereas [name]Linnea[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name] together are too close for my taste. I really do like [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Alexander[/name], and [name]Lyra[/name], each with classic middle names to unify them (still not feeling Ender, though), but, again, it is up to you which you love most! If you like this idea and want help finding another girl name that works well and might appeal to you and your husband, I can try and help. You could even use [name]Linnea[/name] as a middle, to honor your family…

[name]Adrienne[/name] [name]Linnea[/name] Stevens “Adri”
[name]Beatriz[/name] [name]Linnea[/name] Stevens
[name]Carmen[/name] [name]Linnea[/name] Stevens “[name]Cari[/name]”
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] Stevens “Flissy”
[name]Frances[/name] [name]Linnea[/name] Stevens “[name]Francie[/name]”
[name]Magdalene[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Stevens “[name]Maggie[/name]”
[name]Miranda[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Stevens “[name]Mira[/name]”
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] Stevens
[name]Verity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] Stevens “[name]Vera[/name]”

Again, good luck!

[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] is my favorite of your boy names.

[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] & [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name] are my favorites of your girl names with [name]Charlotte[/name] being the most favorite.

Boys:
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name]: I love both names, but with with your last name, it’s a lot of s endings. If this doesn’t bother you though, I think that [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] is handsome. I also love [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]David[/name].
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name]: I [name]LOVE[/name] this!!!
[name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name]: I think that [name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name] is so handsome, and I love [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Charles[/name], too.

I love your boys’ names!

Girls:
[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name]: I [name]Linnea[/name] and I love [name]Jane[/name]. I also love [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] from your list of names…
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name]: I love [name]Charlotte[/name]! I think that [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name] is really pretty, but with your last name, which also has a T sound, I hear a lot of T.
[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]: I think that both names are really pretty, but [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] is hard for me to say because of the back-to-back R sounds. (It may just be me, though.)

[name]Linnea[/name] is my favorite with your last name, and I love [name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name] the most with your last name from the boys’ list.

So many great names!

Take care!

I can understand a lot of your concerns. (They’re mine too!)

I immediately thought of [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] when I saw your list. This pair is just gorgeous!

[name]Linnea[/name] is so pretty. It is almost too close to [name]Lyra[/name], but just different enough to work, particularly if you use both names in full.

[name]Alexander[/name] is a fine, classic name, just not as interesting as your girl’s ideas. [name]Xander[/name] or [name]Xavier[/name] might go better. [name]Frederick[/name] is sort of a nice vintagey idea.

Good luck!

Boys:
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name]- [name]David[/name] is his father’s name–I like [name]David[/name] [name]Frederick[/name], too.
[name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name]
*[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] or [name]William[/name] [name]Alexander[/name].
Girls:
[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – nice
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name] – [name]How[/name] about [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or even [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Lyra[/name]?
[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] – too short

[name]Travis[/name] and I have talked about this a lot. I understand and agree with a lot of your concerns. However, as we’ve talked about it together, we realized that we really like [name]Lyra[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] together. (For some reason, I picture little twins running around our church building when I see those names together.) However, I completely understand the [name]Ruth[/name] thing. I’ve never been completely satisfied with it. However, last night, I thought: what about [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]? [name]Elizabeth[/name] is my sister’s name (and I only have one so no other ones can get mad at me) and for some reason, it felt right to have [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] together since [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] are the oldest girls in Pride and Prejudice, which is one of my favorite books, and one of the reasons I chose [name]Jane[/name] in the first place. Anway, let me know what you think: [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].

As far as [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] goes… I’ve given it a lot of thought, and it’s not one I’m willing to change. I say my husband’s full name all the time and I’ve sort of fallen in love with the sound of it, including all the s’s. As far as I can tell, I’ll be the ONLY one saying his completely full name and I am madly in love with it. So, as much as I can understand your concerns, that one is not really up for debate.

I’m almost this close to taking [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name] off the list. I’m not sure what I can do to make it fit with the rest of my names. As far as names goes, (and this might be a big no-no), but I feel like I fall on the vintage side of girls’ names and the classic side of boys’. [name]Charlotte[/name] is much too classic with my other girl names, and if we used a nn, it would be [name]Charlie[/name] or [name]Lottie[/name], which is either too boyish or too matchy. Since both [name]Lyra[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] are solidly in line to be used, [name]Charlotte[/name] may have to be sacrificed.

[name]Just[/name] so you know, some other names we’ve been throwing around are:

[name]Isaac[/name] (seriously, as far as boys’ names go, this is about it)

[name]Sylvie[/name] (which I love!)
[name]Ruby[/name] (which [name]Travis[/name] loves about as much as [name]Charlotte[/name])
[name]Jocelyn[/name]
[name]Claire[/name]
Oh, and he loves [name]Evelyn[/name], however, I’m not the biggest fan; but it is BIG deal when he loves a name, so I try not to ignore it.

I really, really love [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Although I’m not a fan of sibling names starting with the same letter, I think these two could work together just fine, especially if you and your husband both agree on them. I love the two classic middles as well

From your boys list my favourite is definitely [name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name]. I have a soft spot for [name]Frederick[/name] since it’s my partner’s name. However, I think it might be too classic with [name]Linnea[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name], they just don’t have the same feel to me. [name]Nicholas[/name] would work, because although it’s a classic name too it feels more laid-back. [name]Alexander[/name] would also go well with [name]Linnea[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name].

[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name]: Nice combo, flows well, but I’ve never really been a fan of [name]Nicholas[/name].

[name]Frederick[/name] [name]David[/name]: I like [name]Frederick[/name]!

[name]Alexander[/name] [name]William[/name]: Very classic and handsome–I like this one best!

[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name]: [name]Linnea[/name] is gorgeous, and even though [name]Linnea[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] kind of rhyme, the combo flows pretty well.

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Otelia[/name]: This combo is really lovely-- the only thing I don’t really like is the repeating OT sounds.

[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]: I like [name]Lyra[/name], but I’m really not a fan of [name]Ruth[/name]. Plus it’s hard to say, with the ‘ra-ru’ sounds.

Other combos:

[name]Linnea[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Lyra[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

[name]Hi[/name], [name]Jennie[/name]!

If you two love [name]Lyra[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] together, then by all means, use them both! I think that [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is very pretty, and honoring your sister with [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is very sweet, too. I prefer [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] for flow, but honoring your sister trumps even that!

As for your boy names, I can’t mess with love. Clearly, [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Charles[/name] Stevens is the name for you!

I like the set of [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Linnea[/name], and [name]Lyra[/name] very much. [name]Do[/name] you need another name? [name]How[/name] many do you ideally want for each gender? Would you potentially want another N name suggestion for a boy? [name]Niel[/name] - another Scandinavian name - would be nice, as it is on the cusp of classic and modern. [name]Niel[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] or [name]Niel[/name] [name]William[/name] Stevens are nice, if you like it - [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Linnea[/name], [name]Lyra[/name], and [name]Niel[/name]…

Of your other list, I like [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], and [name]Claire[/name], but they all seem too classic to go with [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Lyra[/name], and [name]Linnea[/name]. [name]Ruby[/name] might be able to slide by, and [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Sylvia[/name] would be sweet!

Take care, and let me know what I can do to help!

[name]Lemon[/name]

[name]EDIT[/name]: [name]Jennie[/name], I just thought of something and wanted to clarify. [name]How[/name] are you pronouncing [name]Lyra[/name]? This caught my attention when you mentioned Lie as a nickname - do you pronounce it like a lyre, as in LIE-rah? I, personally, say the name like LEER-ah, so Lie would never be a nickname. You could always use L or Lo for a nickname, or give her initials with a nickname, if nicknames are important to you. I was thinking LIS for Lissy, so you could do [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Irene[/name] Stevens or something. But, then again, I don’t think [name]Lyra[/name] needs a nickname, personally. As for [name]Linnea[/name], are you saying this lih-NAY-uh, because that is how I pronounce it. I still think [name]Lea[/name] could be an accessible nickname, should you choose one. Take care!

Yes. [name]Lyra[/name] is pronounced LIE-rah, like the constellation and the lyre. Y’s very rarely replace vowels to make an “ee” sound in the middle of a word. If it was “LEER-ah,” it would be spelled Lira, like the Italian currency.

Anyway, yes, [name]Linnea[/name] is Li-NAY-ah, but I’m not fond of the nickname [name]Lea[/name]. I prefer [name]Linny[/name], which we will probably scarcely call her anyway as I think [name]Linnea[/name] in full is gorgeous, and not too hard to say without a nickname.

Personally, I think a lot of the issues surrounding [name]Lyra[/name] are fixed by [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] which is really growing on me as a beautiful name. Paired with [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name], I think I will be a very happy mother someday.

Though, you’re right, boys’ names that match are now giving me a bit of a headache. I do like [name]Nicholas[/name] with them, which is great since it is my favorite boys’ name, but [name]Frederick[/name] is looking a bit out of place. I’m wondering if [name]William[/name] still works, especially if we call him [name]Will[/name]. I also may be able to get over my ex [name]David[/name] since now I only hear it as my FIL. However, I would prefer keeping it as a middle name. If you ladies have some suggestions that aren’t too outlandish (…we’re not exactly the [name]Barnaby[/name] type) I would really appreciate it. (I know, I know… here we go again, right? haha)

Oh, also, what do you think of [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]?
[name]Travis[/name] loves [name]Ruby[/name] so much and I think it is a better fit with the other girl names we have.

[name]Jennie[/name],

I’m really glad that you have found two names you love in [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - gorgeous, unique, and brilliant choices! I must say that [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is absolutely adorable, too! I really love it…

Are you looking for more boy names, or are you liking [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]William[/name]? Is [name]David[/name] the middle name for [name]William[/name], and did you get rid of [name]Alexander[/name]?

[name]Just[/name] wanted to clarify…
