[name]Hi[/name]! I need some help in naming my first baby girl due this [name]July[/name]. Here are my top choices:
[name]Emerie[/name] [name]Maye[/name] - Like it because it is feminine, pretty, and my husbands top choice. Worried that it is too common.
[name]Waverly[/name] [name]Maye[/name] - Like it because it is still feminine and pretty, but different.
[name]Saylor[/name] [name]Maye[/name] - Like it because it is different and cute/spunky, but husband doesn’t like it at all.
[name]Maye[/name] is my grandmother’s middle name that we both really love.
What do you think? Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanks!
[name]Hi[/name]! I really like [name]Emerie[/name] [name]Maye[/name]! Is it really common where you are? I’ve never actually heard it here! (I’m in [name]Ireland[/name]). Not too big a fan of [name]Waverly[/name], doesnt really seem like a name to me but again that could just be down to location as it’s not a name I would have heard. I actually really quite like [name]Saylor[/name] [name]Maye[/name] too! It’s different and pretty at the same time. Think if your husband really doesnt like it though, you may have to give it up. There have been so many names my husband has outright said no to so I know how you feel! If you both like [name]Emerie[/name] then that is the one I would definitely go for! Plus there is always the nickname [name]Emmy[/name] which I [name]LOVE[/name]! [name]Emmy[/name]-[name]Maye[/name] is also a very cute little nickname!
[name]Hi[/name]! I’m not a big fan of [name]Waverly[/name], but I do like [name]Emerie[/name]. My favorite of the three would be [name]Saylor[/name], I think it flows really well with the mn you’ve chosen. I think that I would prefer it spelled [name]Sailor[/name] though.
I love [name]Waverly[/name] [name]Maye[/name]! Original and sweet and so, so lovely.
I’d be concerned about [name]Emerie[/name] being misheard, a lot, as the more-common [name]Emily[/name]. People tend to hear more easily the names they’re familiar with. As beautiful as it is, I think she’ll spend a lot of time correcting people.
[name]Waverly[/name], because [name]Saylor[/name] = boy to me, and [name]Emerie[/name] could be misheard often as [name]Emily[/name] or [name]Marie[/name]. I also really like [name]Waverly[/name].
Normally last-name names are nms at all, but I just love [name]Waverly[/name]! It’s kind of a guilty pleasure. [name]Waverly[/name] [name]Maye[/name] is lovely.
[name]Saylor[/name] sounds like a boy and [name]Emerie[/name] is too trendy (and I’d prefer it on a boy, with the spelling [name]Emery[/name]/[name]Emory[/name]).
[name]Waverly[/name] [name]Maye[/name] is gorgeous! I also agree that saylor does sound more like a boys’ name.
[name]Maye[/name] as a first name would be just as pretty too!
[name]Emerie[/name] is my favorite out of your choices. I perfer it spelled [name]Emery[/name]. I agree with others that [name]Maye[/name] is such a pretty name! Your other two names are NMS
[name]Waverly[/name] is miles ahead of the other two for me. It’s one of my very favorite names - sophisticated, charming and pretty. [name]Emerie[/name] and [name]Saylor[/name] are just so-so in my book, though I can see the appeal in each.
