I much prefer [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. I prefer [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] to [name_u]Reese[/name_u] on its own, but paired with the last name Gross I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] Gross is a little heavy on the ending -s sounds with the middle and last names. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] Gross seems a lot more balanced and has a nice flow to it.

Agreed completely.

I know the flow with the last name is way better with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], but I guess I was thinking flow with last name did not matter as much. I love [name_u]Reese[/name_u] because it combines my mother and my mother in law’s middles… oh no, I wonder if [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] would have the same overwhelming response if I did not include our last name. I was thinking that didn’t matter as much as the first and middle since she will likely change last names one day anyway… hmmm!!! I also love [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], but [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is more sentimental I guess.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] sounds better. If [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is more meaningful I think you should use that though.

It wouldn’t matter to me if you didn’t mention your last name, I prefer the sound of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] in general. I don’t mean that [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is bad, though, it’s also lovely. If [name_u]Reese[/name_u] has such special meaning to you, go for it!

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nickname [name_f]Lottie[/name_f].

Thanks, all. I am going to quiz the hubby in a bit. His opinion matter lots. Thankfully we are pretty agreed/settled on our boy combo. We are trying to not discuss the name with anyone but each other (and the berries!!!) and simply announce the name once we find out the gender in a few months.

Well, hubby likes both, but he did comment that at her high school graduation [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] Gross flowed better! We are still not sure. I am in love/obsessing over [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and he likes both and is fine with either… maybe because he thinks it’s a boy!!

I second this opinion. Good luck.

thank you! Naming a person is hard!!!
