Top names of 2015?

I suspect a lot of you here have already seen [name]Steven[/name] Levitt and [name]Stephen[/name] Dubner’s projections for the most popular baby names of 2015 (they wrote Freakonomics). I was just wondering what you all thought of these names in terms of popularity, style, attractiveness, similarities, trends etc. I know some of these names aren’t even on the top 1000, and probably won’t be anywhere near popular in just four years, while some of them were charting high for several years before the book was even published.

Everytime I see that list, I think how random it is. According to [name]Laura[/name] Wattenberg, there wasn’t a lot of science to how they picked the list. They just randomly sampled wealthy Californians and picked some of those names, plus ones that were on the upswing already. I don’t think it’s very indicative of any specific trend. I mean, [name]Marie[/name]-[name]Claire[/name] and [name]Keyon[/name]? Really?
