The only names from your girls list that I like are [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] (THIS spelling only). Of your guilty pleasures, I like [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f].

From your boys names, I like [name_u]Casey[/name_u], [name_m]Weston[/name_m], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], and [name_m]Preston[/name_m]. [name_m]Traylor[/name_m] like trailer park or in a more demeaning way, trailer trash? What is Laktoa supposed to be?

[name_u]Addyson[/name_u] - I knew two girls and one boy named [name_u]Addison[/name_u]. The girls were sweet, kind, and well-behaved. The male [name_u]Addison[/name_u] was very cocky. So with those associations I have a soft spot for females named [name_u]Addison[/name_u].
[name_u]Britton[/name_u] - This is okay.
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u] - I really like [name_u]Sutton[/name_u] for a boy.
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] - While growing up I knew many Rachels. It is a decent name but I feel tired of it.
Emmalyne - I love [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].
[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] - This is okay.
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] - Again, okay.
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u] - I have never been able to get into this name for either sex.
[name_u]Paisley[/name_u] - [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] for me honors family. I find it to be beautiful. I am unsure I would have enough guts to use it though.

[name_m]Thayer[/name_m] is on my boy’s list, my late grandma used to take in washings and tailor clothes to earn extra income when my mom and uncle were young.

I don’t think I could ever name my child [name_u]Lakota[/name_u], but it has a nice ring to it to me anyways. [name_u]Lakota[/name_u] -[name_u]Dakota[/name_u]. It’s just something different and I like it. But now since you mentioned it, it does seem more like a lake cabin name or a dog or something.Def Not a baby’s name. Emmalyne is how I would spell it. I love the ‘y’ in it.

[name_m]Traylor[/name_m] is cute but yeah I also thought about trailer. I hate when a name is similar to something else. It’s a pet peeve but I just had to know what others thought too.

From your girl’s list my favorite choice is Emmalyne, although I prefer the spelling [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], as I generally prefer the correct spelling. I love your GP girl name of [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], I think it’s fabulous!

Now, on to the boys, I like many more of your boy names than girl names. Like - [name_m]Weston[/name_m], [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], [name_m]Landon[/name_m], and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] is nice too.

I have only known a girl [name_u]Dakota[/name_u], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], and [name_u]Easton[/name_u].

I came across [name_u]Sutton[/name_u] a tv series that didn’t last long.

[name_u]Addyson[/name_u] is either sex to me. But I would use different spellings. [name_u]Addyson[/name_u] (Girl) or [name_u]Addison[/name_u] (Boy)

[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is a huge favorite of mine along with Emmalyne (which I snagged from [name_m]Army[/name_m] Wives)

I don’t remember where I heard [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] but I fell in love with it…but I dont know if its for me.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] is the same way. But It kind of reminds me of cassette.

I have to say I like your boys list much better than your girls list. The only name I really don’t like on your boys list is [name_u]Braylon[/name_u] (sounds made up to me), but I like most of the other ones quite a lot. A couple of the names on the girls list are too masculine for me ([name_u]Sutton[/name_u] and [name_u]Easton[/name_u]), and I don’t like some of the spelling variations ([name_u]Addyson[/name_u] and Emmalyne), but overall it’s a pretty good list too :slight_smile: Here’s how I would rank them…

My name is [name_f]Brittany[/name_f] so [name_f]Britta[/name_f] just seems too close. I have a cousin (boy) named [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. I like the suggestion [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] & [name_f]Adeline[/name_f].

I like [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] but I see it as a girls name. [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] seems too out there for me. I have a cousin named [name_m]Dalton[/name_m]. And [name_u]Sutton[/name_u] is my favorite girl’s name.

I call them my quilty pleasures cause they are my back up list, kinda, I love them but my family on the other hand likes more traditional names. I would so use [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] and [name_m]Gannon[/name_m] though.

I don’t think there is a correct spelling…to me it’s how you want it to be. Like my name can be [name_f]Brittany[/name_f] [name_f]Britney[/name_f] [name_f]Brittnay[/name_f] [name_f]Brittney[/name_f] [name_f]Brittani[/name_f] etc. I’ve seen it all.

I’m not a huge fan of your girls list - I think our styles just clash. You seem to like a lot of, what I would consider, boys names on girls. That being said, I adore [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f].

[name_u]Braylon[/name_u] - Not a fan of the “bray” part. Reminds me of a donkey.
[name_m]Braxton[/name_m] - A little [name_f]Toni[/name_f], for me.

[name_u]Carson[/name_u] - Reminds me of [name_u]Carson[/name_u] the [name_m]Butler[/name_m] in Downton [name_u]Abbey[/name_u]. Sure, it is his last name, but I still approve.

[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] - I like this one too, it is soft, which is uncommon for a boy’s name.

[name_m]Traylor[/name_m] - Uh, no offence, but really? Like… trailor? Like what you pull behind a truck?

I like a lot more of your boys names. A lot of them scream “cowboy” to me, which I kinda like. My favorites are: [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], and [name_u]Carson[/name_u].

[name_m]Traylor[/name_m] is just a GP name. Like if I had 500 kids it would be a last resort thing for me. I think its a unique twist of [name_u]Taylor[/name_u].
Yeah I have a thing for western names and old fashioned names and names with a twist or names that are different.

Everyone: Thanks for the opinions but Emmalyne (If I decide it’s the one will be spelled Emmalyne, it’s more cute and girly to me. [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f] I just see line. [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] same way. & My family will probably want to pronounce it M-E-[name_f]Line[/name_f] or [name_f]EMMA[/name_f]- [name_f]Line[/name_f]. Plus I love ‘y’ It connects it to my [name_f]Brittan[/name_f]“Y” and “[name_u]Lyn[/name_u]” represents my lovely family. [name_f]Emma[/name_f]/[name_f]Emily[/name_f] has just always been a huge crush for me.

So if you don’t mind just leave the spelling out for that name. It’s not going to change my mind.
& The same goes for [name_u]Addyson[/name_u]/[name_f]Adyson[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Addison[/name_u] is more manly.
