I don’t like [name_u]Francis[/name_u] with [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] are fresher and newer choices, whereas [name_u]Francis[/name_u] is still left behind in the old-man zone.
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] could definitely work, but I don’t like that [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] has the V sound when you already have a very V-rich name in your sibset. But I guess this sounds nitpicky.
Nonetheless, my vote eventually still went to [name_m]Linus[/name_m].

This was pretty much my exact thought process, too. I love [name_m]Linus[/name_m] for you.

Thanks for the heads up on [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. It’s true that it has a heavy V sound and I already have a child with a V name. I didn’t think of that!

I like [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] the best but I’d go with [name_u]Francis[/name_u].

I voted for [name_m]Linus[/name_m]. :slight_smile: I think [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], and [name_u]Francis[/name_u] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] sound well, but I can’t manage to get excited about either of them. I adore quirky [name_m]Linus[/name_m], and I think [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], and [name_m]Linus[/name_m] are perfection together, too–a little quirk, a little vintage, and a little of a totally different European ancestry–[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is [name_m]French[/name_m], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]'s Italian, and [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is Ancient [name_m]Roman[/name_m] (or, at least, it’s original form, [name_m]Linux[/name_m], was, and [name_m]Linus[/name_m] itself is quite popular in Scandinavia and Germany, from what I’ve heard!). [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], and [name_m]Linus[/name_m] is just perfect, to me.

I voted for [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. Did you rule out [name_m]Beau[/name_m]? I liked that one with your girls’ names. [name_u]Francis[/name_u] is classic but doesn’t seem obviously masculine enough [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. When I hear the name, I usually think girl because of [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. I associate [name_m]Linus[/name_m] strongly with the character from [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]Brown[/name_m], so I always think of a babyish kind of kid (probably just me though!).

I really liked [name_m]Beau[/name_m] too but I can’t seem to get my husband on board :frowning:
