I found there reasons kinda interesting. If you wannaread the article here it is:)

So what do you think? Agree? Disagree?

The names on the lists didn’t surprise me too much, given the time I have spent on this site. They all seemed familiar and somewhat innocuous - most of the names given show up again and again here. I think it’s great, because that means that the names we are giving our kids now are going to be the “trendsetters” for the kids 9-10 years from now.

What I did find interesting, though, was reading through the comments under the article. Some of the people reading the article have a VERY different spin on names than us Nameberry-ites, and it was interesting to see what they had to say. It was nice to get a different perspective, even if I don’t agree with many of them.

I did notice the input from [name]Nephele[/name] about incorporating more Latin/Hispanic/Spanish Names into the top 10 to reflect the growing Latin/Hispanic/Spanish population in the US! I was thinking the SAME thing!

I especially LOVED the comment from the woman who said she got all her kids names from [name]Beverly[/name] Hills 90210 and Charmed and didn’t bother to look them up. I’m speechless!
