Honestly, I am not crazy about either. They seem a bit pretentious to me.
I like [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] a bit more, but I think [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] fits best with last name.
I don’t think either really goes that well with the last name because the S in Carswell and the S’s in both the name run together too much.
I agree with cannebella.
I personally like both, but I would steer away from [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] with your last name, if only to avoid the initials “CC”, which brings to mind the carbon copying option in everyone’s email account.
[name_m]Cassius[/name_m] is kind of cartoony with your surname, and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] LN makes me think “Magna Carta”
I don’t love either option, but if I had to pick, I’d go with [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], just because it flows better with your surname.
I’m not sure if you’re open to suggestions, but some names similar to [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] and [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] that I think may work better with your surname are:
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] (the C, A & S sounds are broken up a little better with the N-ending of [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], as opposed to the repeated S sound in [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]. I do like repeating sounds, though)
[name_m]Mattias[/name_m]
[name_m]Mateus[/name_m]
[name_m]Crispin[/name_m]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
