All of these come from different cultures…[name_f]Indian[/name_f], Scandinavian, Russian, etc. What is your character’s background?
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is gorgeous!
I like [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. The name sounds like it belongs to a smart, sophisticated girl with a spunky sense of humour.
All of them are very studious-sounding names. Sophisticated, but also confident and energetic. [name_f]Priya[/name_f] would give your story a more otherworldly flair if your story is fiction, but I also like [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] makes me think of a more average, street-smarts-over-book-smarts type of girl, and [name_f]Irina[/name_f] sounds kind of poetic and elegant–Shakespearean, in a way, but it does also sound Victorian. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] reminds me too much of Friends.

The only one I really disagree with is [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. All the Phoebes I know in literature and movies are the “dumb ones,” and frankly none of the ones I know are particularly intellectual either.
