Torn between names for our fifth baby girl

Hey again everyone! I want to thank you for all the suggestions in my previous post! We have taken awhile to go over our list, and we have eliminated some names…and added some new ones! This will be our fifth baby girl (I can’t believe it either), so we want her name to sound good with older sisters: [name]September[/name] [name]Claire[/name] “[name]Tess[/name]”-7, Greenley [name]Katherine[/name]-5, and twins Makelle [name]Lily[/name] “[name]Maks[/name]” and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Rose[/name] “[name]Charley[/name]” are both 3. (there was some confusion before, Makelle’s name is pn “Mah-kell” and [name]Maks[/name] is pn like “[name]Max[/name]”). So, our list right now for first names is [name]Tuesday[/name], [name]Sunday[/name] nn [name]Sunny[/name], [name]Langston[/name], [name]Honor[/name], [name]Star[/name]/[name]Starr[/name], [name]Clementina[/name], or [name]Serenity[/name]/[name]Seraphina[/name] nn [name]Sera[/name]. So, what do you think?

I love the name [name]Honor[/name] but I still think [name]Sunday[/name] nn [name]Sunny[/name] fits perfectly with your daughters. So my final vote goes for [name]Sunday[/name].

good luck (:

Five daughters? I’m so jealous!!

Hmm… I recommend: [name]Tuesday[/name] [name]Clementina[/name].

[name]Do[/name] you have a particular middle name in mind or will you pick both first and middle from this list?

[name]Sunday[/name] and [name]Tuesday[/name] are cute, but they are too similar to [name]September[/name]. Not in sound, but in theme/idea. Makelle, [name]Charlotte[/name], & Greenley are all original and each have their individuality… but then if you have [name]September[/name] AND [name]Sunday[/name] or [name]Tuesday[/name], those are names of days/months… too themey.

I adore [name]Seraphina[/name], especially with your other girls’ names! It is so feminine and elegant. The nickname [name]Sera[/name] is very sweet.
[name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Sunday[/name]
[name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Starr[/name]

I also like [name]Honor[/name] from your list. It’s pure, unique, fresh and serene!
[name]Honor[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] is gorgeous!

Clemintine doesn’t fit well with the other names. It is very old fashioned. The names of your other girls are very fresh and fun. This name is serious, not fresh or fun.

I love [name]Star[/name]/[name]Starr[/name] for a middle name. It’s too short for a first name… at least for a first name that is so forward. It’s more like the finishing touch to a beautiful name. It’s not enough to hold its own, especially compared to your other daughter’s names.

[name]Langston[/name] is a cool name. It doesn’t feel very feminine, like your other daughter’s names do.

[name]Sunday[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] sounds gorgeous…may be too much alliteration for you though!

I personally wouldn’t use [name]Tuesday[/name] or [name]Sunday[/name] with [name]September[/name]. I might use [name]Sunny[/name] on it’s own as a name though. I’m not keen on [name]Langston[/name], [name]Honor[/name] or [name]Star[/name].

I do love [name]Clementina[/name] or [name]Serenity[/name] though

Personally I’d choose:
[name]Clementina[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Clementina[/name] [name]Honor[/name]
[name]Clementina[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] (to go with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Rose[/name]!)

[name]September[/name], Greenley, Makelle, [name]Charlotte[/name] and …
[name]Tuesday[/name] - I love this one, but I worry that with [name]September[/name] there would be too many ‘time’ names
[name]Sunday[/name] - ditto. I prefer [name]Tuesday[/name] of the two, as it seems more unusual, but the nn [name]Sunny[/name] is adorable.
[name]Star[/name]/[name]Starr[/name] - it feels a little off with her sisters.
[name]Honor[/name] - a little too popular compared to her sistes’ names, in my opinion.
[name]Clementina[/name] - perfect! I don’t think it matters that she would share an initial with [name]Charlotte[/name], and it is the right combination of unusual ([name]September[/name]) and classic ([name]Charlotte[/name]) to complete the sisters’ names perfectly.
[name]Serenity[/name] - lovely.
[name]Seraphina[/name] - again, lovely, but it is quite similar to [name]September[/name].

My choice would be [name]Clementina[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] or [name]Serenity[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. You seem to like classic middles - [name]Madeleine[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Sarah[/name].

Good luck! [name]Auburn[/name]

My favourites are [name]Honor[/name] and [name]Serenity[/name]/[name]Seraphina[/name]

I think we are going to nix [name]Langston[/name], [name]Serenity[/name], and [name]Honor[/name]. But it is still a tie between [name]Tuesday[/name]/[name]Sunday[/name] (tell me, is it way too “themey”? My husband adores both the names, but I’m having second thoughts) or [name]Clementina[/name] (love it, but husband thinks it is too close to [name]Charley[/name]) or [name]Seraphina[/name] nn [name]Sera[/name]. Middle names we like are : [name]Starr[/name], [name]Eve[/name], Madeliene, [name]Gillian[/name], and [name]Lorraine[/name]. What do you think?

What about [name]Susannah[/name] nn [name]Sunny[/name]?

We like [name]Susannah[/name], but my sister-in-law is [name]Savannah[/name], so I think it would be too close sounding to her aunt.

I [name]LOVE[/name] both [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Lorraine[/name]!

[name]Tuesday[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name] - my favorite
[name]Sunday[/name] [name]Eve[/name]

I’m not crazy about [name]Starr[/name] as a mn with [name]Tuesday[/name] or [name]Sunday[/name]. On the other hand, [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Starr[/name] is kind of nice. I am not a big fan of [name]Seraphina[/name]; although, I do see the appeal.

I agree that tuesday and sunday are too themey w [name]September[/name]. I would use [name]Seraphina[/name].

Sisters:
[name]September[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
Greenley [name]Katherine[/name]
Makelle [name]Lily[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Rose[/name]

Options:
[name]Tuesday[/name]: I really hate this as a name and don’t know why. Sorry!
[name]Sunday[/name] nn [name]Sunny[/name]: [name]Love[/name] the name and nickname, adorable and sounds great with the sisters.
[name]Langston[/name]: To me its only a boys name. Good name though.
[name]Honor[/name]: I like it, but don’t love it with your other girls.
[name]Star[/name]/[name]Starr[/name]: I don’t like it. I hate it as [name]Starr[/name].
[name]Clementina[/name]: Beautiful and would work well with the other girls.
[name]Serenity[/name]/[name]Seraphina[/name] nn [name]Sera[/name]: [name]Adore[/name] both these names and think this is the perfect choice!

[name]Seraphina[/name] is best fit with your grouping!!

I agree that [name]Tuesday[/name] & [name]Sunday[/name] are nice names, but it is definitely “themey” because you already have a [name]September[/name]. I’ll explain why:
You would have 2 daughters out of 5 that are days/months… the other 3 are completely unique and different from each other, so to have two days/months with all of the others makes those two “date” names stand out the most, and therefore it feels too themey for my taste.
If you only had 2 daughters, would you have considered naming them [name]Sunday[/name] & [name]September[/name]? Or [name]Tuesday[/name] & [name]September[/name]? Probably not because you would almost have to continue with the trend or theme with your next baby. And if you did name this baby [name]Sunday[/name] or [name]Tuesday[/name], you could never say her name before you say [name]September[/name] because it sounds like you’re saying a date. “[name]Tuesday[/name], [name]September[/name] 1st” or “[name]Sunday[/name], [name]September[/name] 5th” So if you say your daughters names Makelle, [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Tuesday[/name], [name]September[/name], Greenley - makes Greenley sound out of place like it’s supposed to be a number/date. [name]Sunday[/name]/[name]Tuesday[/name] just aren’t good with the rest because of [name]September[/name]… But again, let me say that all are pretty names!

I hope that makes sense.

My favorite still is [name]Seraphina[/name]! It is very original and holds it’s own with of her sister’s who each have very original names themselves. [name]September[/name], Greenley, Makelle, [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Seraphina[/name] ([name]Sera[/name]). I adore how feminine it is, yet it is strong and not too frilly.

[name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Eve[/name] - STUNNING!

Wow, what creative, gorgeous names your daughters have! I agree that [name]Tuesday[/name] and [name]Sunday[/name] are much too “themey” with [name]September[/name].

Out of the names you listed, I like [name]Seraphina[/name] as a first name for sure! I think [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Star[/name] would go well as middle names.

Good luck!
[name]Heather[/name]

I like [name]Clementina[/name] and [name]Seraphina[/name] best!

Your girls have adorable names!

I am going to say [name]Seraphina[/name] would be the best fit. [name]Clementina[/name] is a tounge twister for me after [name]Charlotte[/name] (when naming them by age.) I am not at all concerned about the popularity, I haven’t actually met one in person. I also think with the nn [name]Sera[/name] she will have a choice if there is another [name]Seraphina[/name] in school.

Good luck!

Personally I love [name]Tuesday[/name] and [name]Sunday[/name] with your girls’ names, I don’t feel it’s too themey but if that worries you I would choose [name]Sunday[/name] nn [name]Sunny[/name] that way you atleast have a nn that doesn’t relate to time and [name]Sunday[/name] [name]Eve[/name] is gorgeous!
