I saw the combo LiIia Margot the other day when I was searching for middles here and now I’m really loving it (hubby’s on board too). Our top combo was LiIy Adair that I also adore. Which combo strike you as vintage glamour more? And which do you like best soundwise?
Maybe do a double middle somehow?
I’m torn too, because I find Lily and Margot the most vintage sounding. Have you considered Lily Margot? That would be my favourite as I prefer Lily over Lilia but find Margot to be more the style you’re after. If not Lily Margot, then I pick Lily Adair.
Lily Margot Adair would be a great option if you absolutely can’t decide.
I get mixed up with the pronounciation for [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] (whether it’s “Lil-lee-uh” or “Lil-ya”), so I prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u] and I think it’s def Old Hollywood glam!
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u]! It’s sleek and glamorous, and I adore both names.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u] is both for me - my favourite soundwise and the one that feels vintage glamour. Such a lovely combo, I hope you stick with it!
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u]
I’m never sure how people pronounce [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] because whichever way I try it I don’t like the sound of it but people seem crazy for it on nameberry so I’m assuming I haven’t found the correct pronunciation yet
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u] has a more refined old Hollywood glamour altogether. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] has a more vintagey, earthy vibe, though on a personal note i can’t decide which I like better either :).
Both are gorgeous but [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] has more vintage glamour
and there’s leel-ya too.
I also prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f] to [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] for the same pronunciation issues. I have a name that although I feel it’s easy to say a lot of people would say it wrong and I would have to correct them.
[name_u]Adair[/name_u] is so unexpected ( I typically prefer Margot) so I will go with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u]
i prefer lily adair since i absolutely adore both of those names, but i think lilia margot feels more vintage glamour
i think lilia margot adair would work perfectly if you wanted the double
I personally think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u] is more glamorous, though both are equally “vintage.” I do like [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] but prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or even [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], which is a little less lispy.
i agree with @Dechen i honestly love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! but to chose between your options i would pick [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] more. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u] does feel vintage like, but I like the flow more [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
