My hubby and I are still discussing about our son’s name… 5 weeks left until he is born!
It is either: [name_m]Marc[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m] or [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_m]Asher[/name_m]… Please vote!
We picked [name_m]Asher[/name_m] as a middle name-- it means happy and blessed.
[name_m]Marc[/name_m]- means god of war, warrior-like, strong.
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]- means ocean (our son will be born in [name_u]March[/name_u]- means, he’ll be a Pisces.) It also means [name_f]Earth[/name_f], willow tree in different language. All nature-related. Hubby is a science teacher so he’s compelled by this name.
I have a mixed feelings about [name_u]Kai[/name_u]- for some reason, it sounds like a girly name? It sounds like a cute name for a kid, but for when he grows up as an adult? I checked online and there are many males with that name… hmmm… (ex: NFL football player, [name_u]Kai[/name_u] Forbath)
I think they are both handsome. Personally I prefer [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. I would also adore [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_u]Kai[/name_u].
I had a male [name_u]Kai[/name_u] in my grade, who is now an adult obviously, so I wouldn’t worry about it being feminine. That shouldn’t bother you. Though I think [name_m]Marc[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m] flows better.
I’d go with [name_m]Marc[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. To be honest, I’m not really a fan of [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. Feels to me like it’s trying to be too cool. I’m hearing it a lot lately. [name_m]Marc[/name_m] on the other hand seems trend-proof and has a great meaning.
