Hello, friends!
Iāve been thinking a lot about what defines my naming style lately, particularly in my quest to clean up my lists so Iād feel more inspired, and I think Iāve landed on a description and vibe that sums it up perfectly, which I tried to depict in the moodboard below! Itās a little messy, brimming with charm, and overall a nice representation of the type of childhood I imagine my babes having. Fun, vibrant, and gentle!
To me, this vibe feels like: kids in tortoiseshell glasses, rainbow tights and coats that follow the same pattern, blue berets, tangled kite strings, a backyard fort built from old sheets and clothespins, well-loved teddy bears with missing buttons, bare feet in a meadow, smudged cheeks, laughter that makes your belly ache, jars of wildflowers, windblown hair, sticky fingers, hand-me-down sweaters, patchwork quilts, finger-painted masterpieces, and the kind of childhood you write stories about. Itās warm and spunky, but a little vintage-inspired. Full of character and whimsy - entirely spirited and vibrant!
Iāve put together a little moodboard to go along with this post (attached below!), and Iād love to hear: What names you think fit this vibe? Do you have any favorites from your own list that give off this feeling?
And if youāre curious, one of the names that inspired this vibe is my beloved, [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]. And two of the biggest influences on the actual imagery of this moodboard were miss Molly McIntire and miss Matilda Honey!
