Are word names off limits? I feel that girls names are harder to come up with because the surname feels so masculine to me. I love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] etc. but do those sound ridiculous with the surname?

I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] sounds beautiful with that last name. I’m not sure about [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] (though I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] that name). Something about the way it sounds doesn’t let it flow out of my mouth the same way [name_f]Violet[/name_f] does. Because the surname is a single syllable, I actually hear longer names sounding better. I loved [name_u]Jem[/name_u]'s choice of [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] with it. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] sounds absolutely precious. Maybe even together? [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]? (I picked that over [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] cause I liked PJ has a possible nickname for a little girl)
I like [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! And I don’t think word names are off limits, as long as it sounds balanced!
Got to say, I love the suggestion [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] $pears - it’s lovely. Perhaps you need to go with a longer syllable name to get the balance? You have [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] in your signature which is adorable - [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]?
