I don’t personally care for [name_u]Tracy[/name_u] and I do think it’s too dated and boring, but I would definitely spell it [name_u]Tracy[/name_u].

I don’t have a problem with dated names at all - I think they’re actually pretty cool for babies now because it’s familiar but odds are, no one else in their class would have the same name.

However, I have bad personal associations with [name_u]Tracey[/name_u]/[name_u]Tracy[/name_u] (I’ve never met a nice one, unfortunately), so personally I dislike it. I can see the appeal though.

I would spell it [name_u]Tracey[/name_u] as that’s the main way I’ve seen it spelled.

My first instinct is to spell it [name_u]Tracy[/name_u]. Most “dated” names like this (ie names from the 70s and 80s) are just not my style, so I don’t personally like the name [name_u]Tracy[/name_u]/[name_u]Tracey[/name_u], but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.

If using I’d opt for [name_u]Tracy[/name_u] spelling. Personally it does feel too dated to me, and I haven’t met many pleasant people with this name [name_m]IRL[/name_m].

I like the [name_u]Tracy[/name_u] spelling. I quite like many names from this era. I think [name_u]Tracy[/name_u] would stand out in a nice way.
