What did you think of [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] for a girl name? I feel it is feminine enough.
Also what is your favorite boy names for girls.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] a head’s up - this is the wrong category for this post.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] definitely works as a girl’s name. The only [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] I know is a girl. I also really like [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl, but I am the minority on this website when it comes to that
I moved this thread to a more appropriate forum.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about going with [name_m]Esra[/name_m]? Same pronunciation but actually a girls’ name.
[name_m]Esra[/name_m], [name_u]Isra[/name_u], and Asra are girls names. [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] bothers me so much on a girl, I can’t even begin to describe.
What about [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] for boy? It sounds soooooooooooooooooooo masculine, and it would be great name for a boy! It’s like [name_u]Elias[/name_u], just sooo much better option.
I must say this is sarcasam, just to be clear.
If you’re not ready to name a boy a female name, don’t do this, but apparently thousands of American don’t share my opinion. They are still all wong. That’s not a sarcasam.
It genuinely irks me to no end when I see people harp about how much [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is sooo feminine and sooo perfect for their lil girl.
I prefer [name_m]Esra[/name_m] for a girl.
Phonetically, I can see how [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] might come across as feminine (ending in “a” like a lot of feminine names). It might be tough to break people’s associations with it as a male name, but I can see it on a girl.
My favorite boy name for a girl is [name_m]Felix[/name_m].
Can’t stand the ‘trend’ of using boys names on girls. Often I find it doesn’t go the other way, which compounds my annoyance.
But I’m finicky about use of language generally, so this extends to naming as well. [name_m]Just[/name_m] my opinion.
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like it. I don’t like any boys names on girls.
