[name_m]Just[/name_m] been reading loads of forums and have come across some names that would have been more traditionally masculine but are being used for girls and I think they are so cool! Wondering what others think!
[name_u]Stevie[/name_u]
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
Another that I love!: Rory
etc.
I think [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] is super cute and spunky for a girl! [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] as well.
I personally prefer [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] on a boy but I know it’s quite unisex.
I like unisex names a lot, and masculine nicknames especially I think are cute on girls. I don’t love masculine full names on girls (like [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_u]Everett[/name_u]) but I think nickname-y names like [name_u]Freddie[/name_u], [name_u]Rooney[/name_u], and [name_u]Nico[/name_u] are great on girls.
I love [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] for girls! [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] is on my list! I generally like traditionally masculine names for girls.
These all seem fully unisex to me (with the possible exception of [name_u]Rory[/name_u]), and I like them on girls!
Stevie = [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] Nicks, very cool
Frankie = funky vintage nickname for [name_f]Frances[/name_f], but I love it on its own too
Rowan = unisex nature name / surname name
Rory = I’ve seen this suggested as a nickname for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] or [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], but I think it works just fine on its own too. I do prefer it for a boy, however (love the meaning!)
@EagleEyes I agree! I prefer the nick namey traditionally masculine names on girls. They are so cute!
@Ashleyann8 oh I love [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] that’s beautiful!
@midwinter that’s adorable!! [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] is so sweet on a boy or a girl
@katinka yes [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] are very cool. I think [name_u]Rory[/name_u] fits with that style too although it does seem more masculine to me
