Trevor, Brady, or Wyatt?

Hello!
We are trying to decide on a name for our son-to-be. Our last name starts with D, is one syllable, and sounds a little western.

We’ve narrowed our first name options to:
[name_m]Trevor[/name_m]
[name_u]Brady[/name_u]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]

Is it a bad idea to use [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] as a first name with a bit of a western-soundling last name?

What are your thoughts? [name_f]TIA[/name_f].

I think it depends on what you’re going for, and also where you live. To me [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] are names that will be reminiscent of the current generation more so than [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] (assuming you live in the US).

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] does already have kind of a “cowboy” image so I’m not sure about it with a Western-sounding surname as well.

Personally I like [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] the best. It seems the most versatile somehow. Good luck!

Not a strong fan of any of them, but much prefer [name_u]Brady[/name_u] over the others.

In order of preference: [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], [name_m]Trevor[/name_m], [name_u]Brady[/name_u].

Like the first response says, I think [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] with your last name depends on the kind of area you live in (urban, suburb, rural, etc.) and if that’s the vibe you want.

If I had to rank them:
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_m]Trevor[/name_m]
[name_u]Brady[/name_u]

[name_m]Trevor[/name_m] would be my favorite followed by [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and then [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].

Have you considered [name_m]Travis[/name_m] or [name_m]Tavish[/name_m]? Similar to [name_m]Trevor[/name_m], but a little spunkier like [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Travis[/name_m] D__ could have the same adventure vibe without being overly cowboy.

I like [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] best. It’s a classic.

Thanks everyone! Really appreciate your feedback. We’re leaning towards [name_m]Trevor[/name_m]

I prefer [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], my second choice is [name_m]Trevor[/name_m]. [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and similar are way overused

I have always loved [name_m]Trevor[/name_m].

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] is my favorite. Runner up is [name_u]Brady[/name_u]. Then [name_m]Trevor[/name_m].
