Trinity Salene?

Not my name combo but my little half sisters name. [name_f]My[/name_f] step-father was really picky with girl names when him and my mother discussed naming her ever since they found out the gender. He wanted to name her [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] but my family and his family didn’t like it at all. He also wanted Japanese names but she didn’t. Finally about a month before her birth, we all sat down and they came up with names. He chose 2 names and had her pick a vintage side or modern side and once she picked a side, the name would be revealed. [name_f]My[/name_f] mother picked the modern side and he said the name was [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] [name_f]Selene[/name_f]. Later on, he wanted to change her name to Trinidy which my mother didn’t like so he changed her middle name to Salene and she let him. [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] is currently almost 7 months old and is a really happy baby.

What do you think of her name? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it matches well with my name? Would you ever use it in any shape or form?

Sorry if its really long, I decided to give a little backstory to it!

I’m glad it fits your sister! [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] Salene flows very, very well, and fits with your name. I personally am not a fan of the Salene spelling, but it has a very pretty sound.

I like [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] but Salene sounds too much (just like) like saline for me.

Exactly! I remember when I found out how they spelled her middle name on her social security card and I instantly thought of salmon! Probably because of the “sal” part.

Trinity is pretty, but prefer it spelled [name_f]Celine[/name_f] or [name_f]Selene[/name_f]. [name_f]Trinity[/name_f] Salene has a good flow to it and your names match quite well! I would use [name_f]Celine[/name_f]/Selene since it’s a name I love.
