I’m not pregnant with triplets or even just pregnant but I was at Target today and thought of the names [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], & [name_f]Joy[/name_f] for triplets. Are they too virtue or cheesy together? I’m not even [name_m]Christian[/name_m] but I think the name [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is beautiful, I’ve loved the name [name_f]Joy[/name_f] for a while, and [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is just down right cute!
As I said in your boy thread. I would not name multiples any different than I would name siblings. They are all individuals.
If I knew of/met a family with daughters named [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], and [name_f]Joy[/name_f] I would assume they were very religious.
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f]!..
Not a fan - triplets deserve individual names. Plus aside from [name_f]Joy[/name_f], I’m just not huge on [name_f]Faith[/name_f] and [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. If I were to consider all virtues, I would need them to be much more unique, such as [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] and [name_m]Bravery[/name_m].
I might connect their middles that way, but not their first names. I also dislike when twins or multiples are dressed exactly the same- they are individuals. No offense to anyone who likes this or does this.
I think [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is pretty and [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is very cute.
I agree. They are often called The Twins/The Triplets, are often put into the same activities/sports. On top of the fact that people confuse them. I cared for twins. Their own father and brother could not tell them apart. All you had to do was pay attention to their personalities. I thought they were as different as day and night. I wrote their names on the bottom of their shoes and socks for their dad. Their brother always felt left out and like the black sheep. I have known other siblings of multiples, in homes were the family created the mini unit of their multiples, that felt the same. They are all individuals and should be treated that way.
They could certainly be matchier, and definitely could be worse names to be grouped with. I personally wouldn’t do it though. It feels a bit… gimmicky. And the additional points made by @lovemysweeties regarding multiples is my general opinion too.
I think [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is really pretty sounding but [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is so dated to me.
