We have previously decided on the [name]Baby[/name] Name Truett for our second son and were searching for a middle name. My husband and I both love Truett, but have heard some strong reactions against it but have also gotten an equal number of positive reactions from people, so we are still really confused and the baby comes any day.
I love Truett! I think that’s so cute! It’s very unique without being crazy, and it has a very nice vintage feel to it. I would definitely go with your gut on this one.
I think both combos are cute, but I prefer Truett [name]Luke[/name] a little more.
[name]Love[/name] Truett [name]Lake[/name]…amazing name! [name]Love[/name] the nn possibity of [name]True[/name]! As for the name Hughitt, the name itself is really fun, but the spelling seems off. That is probably because the one “Hughitt” i knew was speld [name]Hewitt[/name]. [name]Hewitt[/name] [name]Lake[/name], and [name]Hewitt[/name] [name]Sawyer[/name] are both amazing as well.
I think Truett is cute! Im usually not a fan of last names as first names but Truett has character and is quite handsome imo. Truett [name]Sawyer[/name] would be my pick, it flows very well.
Thanks for the positive feedback. My husband prefers
Truett [name]Luke[/name]
and I like
Truett [name]Sawyer[/name]
so we are still undecided and will probably wait until we meet him, but if anyone has any other middle name suggestions that flow with Truett let us know.
[name]Just[/name] curious, what kind of product comes to name? I am actually surprised when people say they don’t see it as a name. I have seen it on many baby name lists and known some little guys named Truett as well as some adults. Maybe it is just regional to where we live.
Oh it’s not unheard of where you live? Then I would DEFINITELY use it! The only thing that would put me off is that everyone would think it was made up or something, but since that won’t be the case for you I think it’s a stellar choice. It’s so unique but not crazy. The nickname [name]True[/name] is so cool, too. I think I slightly prefer Truett [name]Sawyer[/name], but both combos are nice. I know this is sort of a filler middle, but I love Truett [name]James[/name]. I think something classic would balance it out nicely. [name]John[/name], [name]David[/name], [name]Daniel[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Anthony[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name] all sound nice to me.
Thanks we love [name]Everett[/name] too, but there is a very well known street in our city called [name]Everett[/name] [name]Street[/name] and we didn’t like the idea that people would think we named him after that street.

I love your ideas of a more classic middle names. [name]James[/name] is my brother in law’s name and [name]William[/name] is my brother and late grandfather’s name so all three of those would be nice gestures. [name]John[/name] is my husbands name and he doesn’t want that part of the mix, but I am going to run the classics by him.
I really like the name Truett, we are also considering it. [name]Love[/name] the nn [name]True[/name] as well.
I think I prefer Truett [name]Sawyer[/name] out of the two you mentioned, but like the above poster I am a big fan of a more unusual first name paired with a traditional middle name or vice versa. Truett [name]Henry[/name] is quite cute.
It is official! Truett [name]Luke[/name] [name]Maloney[/name]. Was born this past week. So far lots of positive feedback about his name and the best part is out toddler loves to say “baby truett” in the cutesy voice everytime he sees him.
I think Truett is a cool name. Different but not wacky and spelled as expected. I prefer [name]Bennett[/name] personally, but I appreciate people who are willing to go with the more unique route.
Neither Truett [name]Luke[/name] or Truett [name]Sawyer[/name] feel right to me. I love the name [name]Luke[/name] but I think the sharp sounds in both names compete. As for [name]Sawyer[/name], I think with a name like Truett you need something a bit more traditional and warm.
