not pregnant yet, but since my husband is deployed and i need something to keep me occupied until he is home, I’ve started our list for baby number two, any thoughts/suggestions based off the names? do any really stand out to you (positive or negative)? recommendations of similar names or other name combos would be awesome as well.
OH and, we want the name to sound nice with our sons name, Oahn [name]Michael[/name] (Oahn is pronounced the same as [name]Owen[/name]) we don’t want it to be matchy-matchy, just kind of… go. if you know what i mean?
thanks!

BOYS
[name]Asher[/name] [name]Emmett[/name] <-- was originally going to be our sons name, but our families talked us out of it, we’re still quite attached to Asher, open to more middle name possibilites though.
We seem to have vastly different tastes, but I’ll give you my favorites.
For girls I like [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
For Boys I love [name]Declan[/name] [name]James[/name]
thanks i appreciate the feedback
i really love [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Grace[/name] too, some of the other names I fear won’t age well, [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Grace[/name] seems to be very pretty and appropriate for any age. Although I am not crazy about the nickname [name]Carrie[/name], which would seem to be inevitable once she would reach school age.
It’s not that popular on Nameberry, but I do kinda like [name]Teagan[/name]! I also like [name]Hadley[/name], [name]Aria[/name], and [name]Molly[/name]. I think [name]Molly[/name] fits better with your son’s name though. [name]Caroline[/name] is great! Maybe [name]Susannah[/name] rather than [name]Savannah[/name]? I think [name]Avery[/name], [name]Lacey[/name], and [name]Reagan[/name] will sound dated. For me, [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Abigail[/name] are extremely popular in the region where I live which gives them a generic feel imo. As for [name]Emerson[/name], I have a really hard times with girls names that end in “son”! [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Hadley[/name]? [name]Molly[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]?
As for boys, you can’t go wrong with [name]Asher[/name], [name]Alden[/name], or [name]Holden[/name]! [name]Asher[/name] [name]Holden[/name] or [name]Holden[/name] [name]Asher[/name] would get my vote!
Firstly, I don’t think [name]Teagan[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Reagan[/name], [name]Holden[/name], [name]Declan[/name], or [name]Alden[/name] are best matched with your son’s name Oahn as they’re a bit too matchy/rhymey together.
I think Oahn and [name]Aria[/name] sound really cute together! [name]Aria[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is more feminine than [name]Aria[/name] [name]Blaire[/name], so I’d go with that!
I also think Oahn and [name]Caleb[/name] work together really well, and I’d go with either [name]Caleb[/name] [name]Asher[/name] or [name]Caleb[/name] [name]James[/name].
For the boys, I like [name]Asher[/name] [name]Daniel[/name], [name]Holden[/name] [name]Wesley[/name], and [name]Declan[/name] [name]Brody[/name]. For the girls, I like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Teagan[/name], [name]Teagan[/name] [name]Cara[/name], [name]Teagan[/name] [name]Savannah[/name], [name]Aria[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Quinn[/name], and [name]Lacey[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].
My faves with Oahn [name]Michael[/name] are [name]Teagan[/name] [name]Cara[/name], [name]Aria[/name] [name]Grace[/name], and [name]Declan[/name] [name]Brody[/name].
