I always thought I liked the name, and would have named my son that if he had been a girl, but have been having second thoughts thinking about if we have a girl next. Thanks ljandrl! We were thinking about [name]Kate[/name] for a middle name…my mom’s name is [name]Katherine[/name], so we thought that would be nice b/c our last name ends in a “en” sound, so thought [name]Kate[/name] sounded better than [name]Katherine[/name].

Have you thought of possibly [name]Nora[/name]? It’s a shortened form of [name]Eleanora[/name]. [name]Nora[/name] [name]Kate[/name] sounds good and I think it goes well with big brother [name]Noah[/name] but for some it might be too matchy-matchy.
coco1- yeah, I love [name]Nora[/name], but my husband hates it. So, it’s really down to either going with [name]Eleanor[/name] and calling her [name]Ella[/name], or just naming her [name]Ella[/name]. I think I’d rather have the longer first name with a nickname, but I just want to make sure the name [name]Eleanor[/name] gives off the vibe I wanted to give my little girl, which was beautiful and pretty.
