Trying to honor my wife with our baby's name

Hello, my name is [name]James[/name] and my beautiful wife and I are expecting our first baby. We’re not sure if it’s a boy or a girl, yet. However, one thing I’m very sure of is, I want to somehow honor my wife with our baby’s name. She is my life and my saviour… she has to put up with me and now she has to carry my child… I thought naming our little one after her is the least I can try and do! Haha!

She has never liked her own name, [name]Whitney[/name], though I think it’s beautiful. But she is so adverse to it and I dont know if I can convince her otherwise. So I’m trying to think of alternatives, and the best idea I think I’ve come up with so far is using her maiden name, which is [name]Knight[/name]. Maybe this is a revolutionary idea, maybe not… I’ve never named anything more than a goldfish before so I’m by no means an expert… which is why I came here.

Could [name]Knight[/name] work as a baby name, or maybe something like Knightley or Knighton? Is there any other way I can honor her? Please help if you can and God bless… thanks…

[name]James[/name]

Why not use [name]Knight[/name] as a middle name? I love quirky, original middles and that sounds like a good one!

Names that mean [name]Knight[/name];

Chev
[name]Chevy[/name]
[name]Farris[/name]
[name]Ritter[/name]

Names similar to [name]Whitney[/name]

[name]Whit[/name] (boy)
[name]Sydney[/name]/[name]Sidney[/name]
[name]Courtney[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name]
[name]Whitley[/name]
[name]Willow[/name]
[name]Wesley[/name]
[name]Wilson[/name]

Im not sure about the name [name]Knight[/name] but it was a nice thought though.

Does she have a mn or a favourite name or place/Country/Thing - e.g [name]Aspen[/name], [name]Hudson[/name], [name]France[/name]/[name]Arizona[/name]. Is she a nature/Outdoors/animal person e.g. [name]Leaf[/name]/[name]River[/name], [name]Pheonix[/name]/[name]Lark[/name]/[name]Poppy[/name]/[name]Lily[/name]?

Using the mother’s maiden name as a first or middle name has has been done for hundreds of years. There’s nothing weird about that. Does she like her maiden name?

Also you could find a name that has the same meaning as hers or use her middle name. Things like that.

Hdub: Thanks so much for the idea” I kinda hope to have something out in front that honors her, but that would be a heck of a lot better than nothing, and if anything maybe we could use it in conjunction with another name that somehow honors her” it”d be a double whammy  Thank you.

[name]Michaela[/name]: Your suggestions are all great, thank you so much. I have to say [name]Chevy[/name] is probably the COOLEST name ever (we”re both big car people) but unfortunately I”m the [name]Chevy[/name] dude and she”s the [name]Ford[/name] girl” I doubt she”d go for naming our kid after her ”mortal enemy,” haha. I also really like all of the ”W” names, especially [name]Whitley[/name]. Is it supposed to be for a girl or for a boy? I”m pretty sure I”ve seen both”

Her middle name is [name]Kristen[/name], which I think is again very pretty but she is pretty nonchalant. I wouldn”t say she really has a favorite place geographically, but she loves the beach and the ocean. She”s a huge animal person and a car person, like I mentioned above. She”s also a journalist.

Mrswoolfsimmons: Thanks so much for the response, I”m glad to know my idea wasn”t really weird or anything. She does, shockingly, actually like [name]Knight[/name] and I think it”s pretty cool myself. I know as a kid being named ”[name]Knight[/name]” would have been the coolest thing ever.

Thank you all so much, especially for responding so quickly” now I”m thinking about names like [name]Ford[/name] and [name]Ocean[/name] and [name]Story[/name], haha!

Best way to honor your wife? Let her name the baby that she’s going to carry for nine months WHATEVER SHE WANTS!

Jlm: Haha! Please rest assured that I’m trying very hard on that! I hope I don’t sound like some pushy husband who’s trying to name our baby without any regards to what his wife likes, it’s just that she is the opposite of me and is insistent that -I- be the one that picks at least the first name. But I’m working on her

She’s very careful about not mentioning any favorites to me, but I know for a fact one is [name]Eleanor[/name], even though it’s after the [name]Ford[/name] Mustang in the “Gone in 60 Seconds” movie. But it’s one she brought up several years ago, when we were still dating.

I think it’s a very nice thought to want your child’s name to honor her/his mother. For a girl, something like [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Whitney[/name] or [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Knight[/name] Lastname would be great, I think. I love [name]Whitney[/name] like you do; and using the mother’s maiden name is a longstanding tradition as well. For a boy, again I think [name]Knight[/name] in the middle would be cool, and if you’re brave enough I think it could work as a first name too. But like jlm said, if this is not something your wife wants then it is less of an honor and more of a burden. One of the most exciting things when I was pregnant was to dream up names with my husband, just the talking and considering and picturing what the child would be like was a great experience for us. I’m sure you and your wife will be able to come up with something great!

[name]How[/name] about the [name]Gwen[/name]- names? [name]Gwen[/name] means “fair, white, blessed”, similar to [name]Whitney[/name] (“white island”):
[name]Ginevra[/name]- “fair, white, smooth”, Italian form of [name]Guinevere[/name]
[name]Guinevere[/name]- “fair, white, smooth”
[name]Gwendolen[/name]- “white, fair, blessed, ring”
[name]Gwendoline[/name]- ditto
[name]Gwendolyn[/name]- ditto
[name]Gwyneth[/name]- “fair, white, blessed”

To honor her middle name, [name]Kristen[/name]:
[name]Christabel[/name]
[name]Christiana[/name]

(meanings come from behindthename.com)

I think it would be very sweet of you to suggest [name]Eleanor[/name] as you remember her loving it when you were still only dating and she probably thinks you’ve forgotten.
You could also use [name]Ford[/name] [name]Chevy[/name] or [name]Chevy[/name] [name]Ford[/name] to combine both of your loves of cars without one winning over the other.

[name]Whitney[/name] means “white island” so you could pick a name with a similar meaning.
Girls -
[name]Avalon[/name] - Island of apples
[name]Skye[/name] - After a scottish island
[name]Madeira[/name] - Portugese island
[name]Sidney[/name] - Wide Island
[name]Capri[/name] - Italian Island (Also [name]Caprina[/name])
[name]Jersey[/name] - Island
[name]Melita[/name] - From the island of [name]Malta[/name]
[name]Rhona[/name] - Rough Island

Boys -
[name]Ramsey[/name] - [name]Wild[/name] garlic island
[name]Arran[/name]/[name]Aran[/name] - After a scottish island
[name]Sidney[/name] - Wide Island

Or you could use a first name that means White and a middle that means Island.
Girls meaning white -
[name]Alba[/name] - White in Itlaian but [name]Dawn[/name] in Spanish
[name]Blanche[/name]
[name]Bianca[/name]
[name]Blanca[/name]
[name]Ivory[/name]
[name]Candida[/name]
[name]Gwen[/name]/[name]Gwendolyn[/name]/[name]Gwenda[/name]/[name]Gwyneth[/name]

Girls meaning island -
[name]Isla[/name]
[name]Ireland[/name]

Boys meaning white -
Alpin
[name]Fintan[/name] - white bull or white fire
[name]Finnian[/name]
[name]Laban[/name]
[name]Wyn[/name]

Boys meaning Island -
[name]Lyle[/name]

Oh, and I forgot to add, [name]Eleanor[/name] (“bright shining one”) could honor [name]Whitney[/name], in a way. Also, [name]Eliora[/name], [name]Helen[/name], [name]Helena[/name], and [name]Helene[/name]…

Honoring the beach and the ocean:
[name]Coralie[/name]- “coral”
[name]Cordelia[/name]- “daughter of the sea”
[name]Nerissa[/name]- “nymph, sea sprite”
Oc”ane- “ocean” (surprise!), pronounced o-shay-ahn

Honoring cars (sort of):
[name]Cara[/name]
[name]Carlotta[/name]
[name]Carolina[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Claire[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Cora[/name]
[name]Levi[/name] (M)- the ending is similar to [name]Chevy[/name]'s
[name]Livia[/name]- not related to [name]Levi[/name], but shares similar sounds…

You could also use [name]Annora[/name], [name]Honor[/name], [name]Honora[/name], [name]Honoria[/name], or [name]Honorine[/name] as a first name with [name]Whitney[/name] as a middle name…

[name]Fiona[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name]- names mean white like [name]Whitney[/name]. I think [name]Whitney[/name] would make a good middle name for a girl and [name]Knight[/name] would make a great middle name for a boy or girl.

Everyone, let me start off by saying thank you so much. After reading your posts, I decided to show [name]Whit[/name] what I had written and all of your responses. She was incredibly touched that I came to this website in search of help ” and [name]Kiki[/name], you were right, she never thought Id remembered [name]Eleanor[/name] back from the dating days! She says she realizes now that picking our baby”s name a joint venture for us, just like the rest of our journey towards parenthood, and she wants us to pick together  I am beyond thrilled and I feel like I owe a lot of this joy to you all, so from the bottom of both of our hearts, thank you!

So, we decided to sit down and create a small list of names together. It”s nothing much, but it”s the first time weve ever done this and I am beyond ecstatic about it. I”m pretty sure its ok for us to post things like this here (I hope!) so here goes nothing:

[name]Chevy[/name] ” For both the meaning and (for me) the car association
[name]Ford[/name] ” For her beloved brand of cars
[name]Knight[/name] ” For her maiden name
Knightley ” Again, for her maiden name” does this sound girly? I”m not sure
[name]Loki[/name] ” Her favorite god (she loves mythology) but she”s worried it wouldn”t work on a ”real baby”
[name]Rider[/name] ” Saw on another website that this means knight, too, and it kind of reminds me of cars?
[name]Tristan[/name] ” Another knight from [name]King[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] and it rhymes with her middle name, [name]Kristen[/name]

[name]Avalon[/name] ” [name]Both[/name] for the island and [name]King[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] connections
[name]Carol[/name] ” She likes this for [name]Carroll[/name] [name]Shelby[/name], one of her idols
[name]Caroline[/name] ” A frillier version of [name]Carol[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] ” Her favorite name
[name]Ocean[/name] ” For the ocean, but [name]Whit[/name] says only for a middle name
[name]Persephone[/name] ” Her favorite goddess, with the same concerns as [name]Loki[/name]
[name]Shelby[/name] ” The other half of [name]Carroll[/name] [name]Shelby[/name]”s name
[name]Story[/name] ” For her writing

We also played around with a few combinations and if it”s alright, I wanted to share some of our ideas with you all and maybe seek out your opinion a bit.

[name]Chevy[/name] [name]Ford[/name] or [name]Ford[/name] [name]Chevy[/name] (Thanks, [name]Kiki[/name]! We both really liked these two)
[name]Chevy[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Chevy[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Ford[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Ford[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Knight[/name] [name]Ford[/name]
[name]Knight[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Loki[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Loki[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Rider[/name] [name]Ford[/name]
[name]Rider[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Rider[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Tristan[/name] [name]Ford[/name]
[name]Tristan[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Tristan[/name] [name]Knight[/name]

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ocean[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Shelby[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Story[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Ocean[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Persephone[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Shelby[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Story[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Whitney[/name]
[name]Shelby[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Shelby[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Shelby[/name] [name]Ocean[/name]
[name]Story[/name] [name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Story[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Story[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]

Again, thank you all… I hope its ok that I’m posting all of this here!

[name]James[/name]

[name]Hi[/name] [name]James[/name] and [name]Whitney[/name]!

My favourites from your list would have to be:

[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Persephone[/name] or [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Story[/name] for a girl.
[name]Elle[/name], [name]Ella[/name], or [name]Nora[/name] would make cute nicknames!

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ford[/name] [name]Knight[/name] for a boy.
I also like [name]Rider[/name] [name]James[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name] [name]James[/name].

Good luck!
Keep us posted!

This is a lovely story and one I will follow with interest. Everyone has, as always, offered such wonderful suggestions I don’t think I can do better. But I will say I love [name]Knight[/name], either as a first or a middle for a boy or in the middle for a girl. I much prefer [name]Knight[/name] to Knightley. The only choice I [name]DON[/name]'T think works is [name]Chevy[/name] [name]Ford[/name] or vice versa – too jokey.

[name]Hi[/name], [name]James[/name]!

I’m so glad you and [name]Whitney[/name] have decided to choose your baby’s name as a couple - it will be so much more meaningful that way! I just have a few comments for you after looking over your name lists…

When I saw [name]Chevy[/name] and [name]Ford[/name], I thought, “Wow, those would be pretty bold names!” I really only think of the car brands, which I believe might be your intention, but have you considered using [name]Chevy[/name] and [name]Ford[/name] as nicknames for longer names? I even think [name]Chevy[/name] could work for a girl, perhaps short for something like [name]Cheyenne[/name]. If you prefer classic names ([name]Eleanor[/name]?), [name]Chevy[/name] could even be a really unique nickname for [name]Charlotte[/name]. Why not, right? As for [name]Ford[/name], you could go surname with [name]Redford[/name], or maybe a bit more classic with [name]Bradford[/name], which also gives [name]Brad[/name] and [name]Brady[/name] as potential nicknames.

As for [name]Knight[/name] and Knightley, I personally think [name]Knight[/name] is an odd name for a child, or anything, really. It is like naming your child [name]Prince[/name], or [name]Rex[/name] - its a lot to live up to for a kid, right? Knightley just reminds me of [name]Keira[/name] Knightley, the actress, so I guess I see it as vaguely feminine - but, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it as a first name for a little girl! I think [name]Knight[/name] or any variant should be reserved for a middle name spot, myself.

As for [name]Loki[/name], [name]Rider[/name], and [name]Tristan[/name], here’s what I think! [name]Loki[/name] sounds more appropriate for a pet, if I must say so myself. I, too, think mythology is really neat, but I can’t see this taking shape on a human child, to be honest. [name]Rider[/name] (or [name]Ryder[/name]) feels like a cool name to me, but it is rather trendy, and I’m not sure it ages the best. I think you could do better ([name]Redford[/name]?) is all I’m saying. Honestly, I absolutely love [name]Tristan[/name] off your list! I think it is just a really cool name that reminds me of Arthurian legends. It isn’t too popular, yet it sounds really fresh and modern.

As for girl names, I’ll start with [name]Avalon[/name], [name]Ocean[/name], [name]Persephone[/name], and [name]Story[/name]. [name]Avalon[/name], I like. I could easily see [name]Avalon[/name] as a sister to [name]Tristan[/name], but I do see it becoming more popular, especially with it being so close to the very popular [name]Ava[/name]. [name]Ocean[/name], I agree with [name]Whitney[/name], must be a middle name! It’s just way to out-there in my opinion - again, I’m substituting my own taste, here (sorry!). [name]Persephone[/name] is a neat name, and a great mythological story, and I know someone else on NB (@gmarie) is considering this for one of her twins, but it definitely sets a naming precedent that could be difficult to match with future children. It is also a lot of name for a child! Finally, [name]Story[/name] is really sweet, and I think it would make a totally darling middle name. Word names out front aren’t really my thing, but I love how this could play out in the middle, like [name]Minnie[/name] Driver’s son, [name]Henry[/name] [name]Story[/name]! Pairing classics and more fun, word names is a perfect way to compromise…

On to the classics, then - my thing! [name]Carol[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], and [name]Eleanor[/name] are definitely classics, but I’ll add [name]Shelby[/name] in, too. [name]Carol[/name] feels a bit dated to me, so I’d definitely dress her up to either [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Carolina[/name] (and [name]Charlotte[/name] is related to [name]Caroline[/name], you know…). I personally love the name [name]Caroline[/name] - it is pretty much the perfect girl’s name, I think. It’s fun and feminine, but not too frilly. [name]Eleanor[/name] is a great, underused classic. It’s pretty and fun, and it has great nickname options! [name]Shelby[/name] feels a little light to me, and it sounds like a name from the 70s or 80s - is that right? Honestly, [name]Shelby[/name] reminds me of [name]Julia[/name] [name]Roberts[/name]’ character in ‘[name]Steel[/name] Magnolias’! I think it is cute, but it isn’t the most sophisticated name - I like elegant names, though, so I’m biased.

Okay, for my final stab, I’d wondered if you all had considered using two middle names. I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it could give you and [name]Whitney[/name] a few more options! With that being said, here are some combinations you might like:

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Vivian[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] “[name]Chevy[/name]” [My favorite!]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Story[/name] “[name]Chevy[/name]”
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Fable[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] “[name]Chevy[/name]”

[name]Redford[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Whitaker[/name] “[name]Ford[/name]” [My favorite!]
[name]Redford[/name] [name]Fable[/name] “[name]Ford[/name]”
[name]Redford[/name] [name]Story[/name] [name]Tristan[/name] “[name]Ford[/name]”

[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] [My pick of this set…]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Story[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Persephone[/name]

[name]Bradford[/name] [name]Tristan[/name] [My pick of this set…]
[name]Bradford[/name] [name]Sonnet[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Bradford[/name] [name]Loki[/name]

[name]Cheyenne[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Carol[/name] “[name]Chevy[/name]” [My pick of this set…]
[name]Cheyenne[/name] [name]Story[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] “[name]Chevy[/name]”
[name]Cheyenne[/name] [name]Whitney[/name] [name]Rhea[/name] “[name]Chevy[/name]”

[name]Ryder[/name] [name]Whitman[/name] [name]James[/name] [My pick of this set…]
[name]Ryder[/name] [name]Fable[/name] [name]Tristan[/name]
[name]Ryder[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Loki[/name]

Maybe some of those will help or inspire you! I’ve arranged them in sets, as you might see, of names that I think work well together. If you have a girl and end up with a boy down the road, you’ve already got a great sibling name! I love [name]Charlotte[/name] with [name]Redford[/name] ([name]Chevy[/name] and [name]Ford[/name]), [name]Eleanor[/name] with [name]Bradford[/name] ([name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Ford[/name]), and [name]Cheyenne[/name] with [name]Ryder[/name] ([name]Chevy[/name] and [name]Ryder[/name]). Good luck!

[name]Lemon[/name]

I just read through the posts and I gotta tell you I think it is great you are so involved in the baby naming process!

Going off of [name]Lemon[/name]'s suggestion of [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name], which I think is fabulous already, if you reversed the two middles - so [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] - you’d get ChEV-y ([name]Chevy[/name]) even more naturally

[name]Just[/name] a thought, best of luck!

[name]How[/name] about something sneaky? Like [name]Henry[/name] (as in [name]Ford[/name]) or [name]Sally[/name] (as in Mustang, which does double duty because of the association between horses and knights).

Or you could go for one of the knights of the round table. [name]Gareth[/name] and [name]Lionel[/name] are pretty accessible.

Wow. We log off this amazing place they call the World Wide [name]Web[/name] for barely over an hour and already the support we have received from you all has grown momentously. I have to say, both of us are absolutely in awe of how great all of you Nameberries (or whatever you call yourselves as a whole) have been towards us. To be honest, I was nervous as you-know-what to even post here in the first place. I didn”t really think that this was a guy”s world, if you get what I mean. But for you all to be so supportive of me, of [name]Whitney[/name], of our precious baby ” of the three of us together as a family ” means more to me than I could ever put into words. From the bottom of all our hearts: thank you, thank you, thank you.

Bondsarah80: Thank you so much for the well-wishes and for your opinions, we really appreciate them! We will definitely keep everyone posted. You”ve all helped us so much already, we have to!

[name]Pam[/name]: Thank you so much for your input and your kind words. Looking back, you”re right, [name]Chevy[/name] [name]Ford[/name] and [name]Ford[/name] [name]Chevy[/name] are probably a bit too cutesy. Thank you for pointing that out. The last thing we want is for our child”s name to become a mockery rather than the beautiful thing it should be.

[name]Lemon[/name]: Thank you so much for taking the time to devote so much of your time and thinking power to a literal couple of strangers! Your expertise is unspeakably helpful” like I said, were totally new to this! [name]Chevy[/name] and [name]Ford[/name] are definitely meant to be for the car brands since they are super important to us. Like I said, not only are we car nuts, but in a really big way it was our cars (hers a [name]Ford[/name]; mine a [name]Chevy[/name]) that brought us together in the first place. That being said, in no way shape or form am I opposed to those names simply being nicknames. I love [name]Cheyenne[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] both. [name]Redford[/name] is pretty nice, though [name]Bradford[/name] might mean trouble for us in our state, Oklahoma, where [name]Sam[/name] [name]Bradford[/name] and OU football are practically religion.

I guess [name]Knight[/name] could sound a little weird, but I”m still oddly attached to it for a son; I blame the wifey entirely  Neither of us keep up with Hollywood so [name]Keira[/name] Knightley never really rang a bell, but now that you”ve brought her to our attention (and I thank you for it!) I think that name will probably be axed.

[name]Loki[/name] isn”t my first pick for a first name, but I think it would make a pretty neat middle, if nothing else. [name]Rider[/name], again, doesn”t necessarily feel ”right” to either of us: we like it, but we don”t love it, at least not yet. [name]Tristan[/name], however, I think is great! I love the Arthurian connection, as you said, since [name]Whit[/name] is such a great fan. I also love the similarity to her [name]Kristen[/name]. Would it be ok to spell it as [name]Tristen[/name], or should it be kept [name]Tristan[/name]?

For the girls, [name]Avalon[/name] is probably one of my favorites of our choices. Again, I love that it”s part of Arthurian legend while relating to [name]Whit[/name] and her love of oceans and islands at the same time. I think [name]Ocean[/name] and [name]Story[/name] would make cool middle names (a lot like [name]Loki[/name] for a boy) but I”m not sure about [name]Persephone[/name]. To be honest, when I first saw it written down, I tried to say it as Purse-phone! This is why [name]Whitney[/name] is the journalist and I”m not, haha  It does sound pretty and I love that [name]Whit[/name] loves it, but I think it might be a bit ”much” for us.

I think [name]Eleanor[/name] is probably my favorite choice for a girl. I think it”s cute (I like [name]Ellie[/name]) and I love that [name]Whitney[/name] loves it so much. It also gives us the subtle car connection that the two of us would enjoy, but few others would probably get it. I don”t really like [name]Carol[/name], but I love [name]Caroline[/name] as well and I think [name]Shelby[/name] is darn cute. I”m not sure what era it”s from, to be honest with you. All I know is the car designer and the car itself!

To be honest, two middle names had never really crossed either of our minds. It daunts me a little; [name]Whit[/name] loves the idea. All of the suggestions you”ve given us, however, are downright awesome! I love [name]Whitaker[/name] and [name]Whitman[/name] and she loves [name]Jameson[/name] (haha). She thinks [name]Ryder[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Loki[/name] is just about the coolest name ever. One question ” is it supposed to be spelled [name]Ryder[/name]? I really had no idea.

[name]Maj[/name]: Thank you for saying it”s great and not weird, haha! Most of my friends and both my brothers think I”m going a little overboard with the naming thing, so it”s good to not be called crazy  [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] is awesome. I love that it actually spells it out.

Jenagain: [name]Whit[/name] actually just brought [name]Henry[/name] up for the same reason you did, and she is insanely grateful that you mentioned [name]Sally[/name]. Thank you!!! I”m a little shocked she didn”t think of it first, she loves that song  The knights of the round table thing is pretty cool, too! I really like the sound of [name]Gareth[/name], but our last name is Giroux and I”m not sure if the alliteration (that IS the right word, right?) is a good thing.

We”ve also been thinking about Chevelle ([name]Whit[/name]”s suggestion) which shortens to [name]Chevy[/name], is a name of a [name]Chevy[/name] car that I”ve always drooled over, and according to the [name]Web[/name] is French for knight.

Again, thank you all” all of your thoughts and opinions mean so much to us.

[name]James[/name]

[name]Knight[/name] is so cool! I’ve always loved that name. I think Knightley has a great look and sound, as well.
