I have a huge list of baby boys names, and I’m trying to narrow them down to maybe 5-10 names. I’ve had a favorite name the whole pregnancy, but I want some back ups if I change my mind about it.
what do you think of these names? any associations? too popular/weird? i’m not concerned about them sounding too trendy or something like that. I like trendy names I guess most people here won’t like them, so no need to be super harsh

[name_m]Rockwell[/name_m] : it sounds as a name of a rock star .
[name_m]Grayson[/name_m] : [name_f]Love[/name_f] it although i prefer [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] spelling .
[name_m]Chasen[/name_m] : love it espessially nn [name_u]Chase[/name_u] .
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] : [name_f]Love[/name_f] it ! it goes perfect with [name_u]Parker[/name_u] .
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] : Like it .
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] or [name_m]Lukas[/name_m] : I prefer [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] but i dont know if it goes well with [name_u]Parker[/name_u] . Its more popular than the others .
bellerose - Yeah i’m not sure about zadon/zaydon either. i like the sound of it, but i can’t make up my mind if it’s boring, trying too hard or…
I really like the sound and look of jason as well, but i’m concerned that it’s too dated as you pointed out. I’ve been thinking about [name_m]Jacen[/name_m] and [name_m]Jayson[/name_m] as well, but i don’t like them as much.
[name_m]Kingsley[/name_m] - makes me think of the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] character, [name_m]Kingsley[/name_m] Shacklebolt, so overall classy and cool.
[name_m]Rockwell[/name_m] - [name_m]Norman[/name_m] [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m] fan? Nice, but if not, sort of insignificant.
[name_m]Grayson[/name_m] - Not bad, but not my favorite.
[name_m]Zadon[/name_m] or [name_m]Zaydon[/name_m] - Really dislike this one, sorry. Not a [name_m]Jacen[/name_m] or [name_m]Jayson[/name_m] fan, either. The original is always classier: choose [name_m]Jason[/name_m], or nix this option.
[name_m]Jason[/name_m] - A tad dated, but has an impressive history.
[name_m]Chasen[/name_m] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_u]Chase[/name_u] is fine.
Kyden - Not my favorite - I like [name_m]Ky[/name_m] (though I prefer [name_u]Kai[/name_u] spelling), and various -den names, but not together.
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] - Okay, but only makes me think of the ugly river.
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] - Used too much for girls lately.
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] or [name_m]Lukas[/name_m] - Like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] a lot.

[name_m]Kingsley[/name_m] is after the HP character.might remove rockwell too, not a [name_m]Norman[/name_m] rockwell fan!
[name_m]Grayson[/name_m] is nice although is sounds a bit too much like “[name_f]Grace[/name_f]” to use on a boy. And I like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] a lot! The others I don’t really care for.

The only name on your list that I like is [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_m]Kingsley[/name_m] aren’t bad. [name_m]Jason[/name_m] is hopelessly dated, and [name_m]Zaydon[/name_m] will be dated in a year or two once the -aden trend is over. Kyden and [name_m]Chasen[/name_m] sound like made-up syllable mish-mash names. [name_m]Kyler[/name_m] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] are vastly preferable. [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m] sounds like the name of a business or legal firm, stuffy and so aggressively masculine it’s silly. [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] are, well, trendy, but if that’s not an issue for you, at least they’re real names and go well with [name_u]Parker[/name_u].
[name_m]Kingsley[/name_m], [name_m]Grayson[/name_m], [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] are my favorites from your list, in that order. Any of those would be great with [name_u]Parker[/name_u] in my opinion, but I especially love the HP connection between [name_m]Kingsley[/name_m] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]. ([name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] are fine too, I just don’t think they fit as well). Good luck! =]

The n ending is really common. Favorites are [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m], [name_m]Kingsley[/name_m], and [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]. Strongly dislike [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] (don’t understand the appeal of this highly trendy name) and Kydon (sounds like a smush of all trendy things: K names, y names (can’t stand [name_m]Ky[/name_m] together, especially on a boy) and n ending…plus is it even a real name with any meaning?
