TTC#1, Boy name stumbles!

I’ve been a long-time lurker ever since my husband and I first started the TTC journey three years ago. [name_m]Alas[/name_m], we had to take a break and now we’re back again. To wile away the time, I’ve been looking over names and my husband is amenable to some of the little girl names – but boys? Definitely not. :frowning:

The only concrete complaint I get out of him is the fact that most of them start with a hard “-n”. Our last name ends with “-son”, so sometimes this sounds a tad off. We don’t like traditional names much, which seems to be where most of the different endings come in.

Anyways, now I am rambling! I’ve been looking here and all across the stretches of the Internet, trying to come up with names that he’d be more amenable to, but still fit my style. Here is the current list:

I had [name_m]Liam[/name_m] on the list, but he really doesn’t seem to like that one. I am secretly slipping that one into my back pocket and using [name_m]Percival[/name_m] (he hates that one the most) to make it sound better.

So what do you berries think?!

Yay! We are also TCC this month - [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] is on our list, too! So I am a little biased… That is my favorite. I also love [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] is actually a very handsome name! Good luck

Cheers! I think it is pretty handsome too. I’m a bit of a nerd, but also a bit of a nature-lover, so whenever I get the chance to combine the two I can. Unfortunately, husband is being stubborn on the hard “-n” ending names, or else this would be easier. Good luck on your journey! I hope I get to hear more of your names as you think on it too!
