Ttc 2018

@phloxie: Congratulations! Brill news.

@[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]: Best of luck, I have my fingers crossed for you.

@[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] - good luck on your medicated round! (PS - [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] is my name, too!)

Thanks ladies, I’m hoping for a very uneventful pregnancy indeed!!

Fingers crossed for all of you in the 2WW & [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], I hope this round of clomid will finally do the trick for you!

Yesterday I had a barely-there line on a pregnancy test that began to look like an evap line with time. So I tried again this morning and there is definitely a faint line there! I’m only 9DPO today so it’s really early but I see it. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] would be due mid-[name_u]June[/name_u]! I’m going to hang out here for a little while longer, I haven’t missed a period yet, and I always feel more comfortable seeing a doctor before I really start to take it to heart. We don’t have our health insurance sorted yet since we moved provinces, never mind doctors, so I’ll have to get on that asap and probably just pay for a walk in clinic/blood test in the meantime. At least I don’t need to see an OB/GYN until about 12 weeks so that gives me some time. Here’s hoping it sticks!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] you are all doing well and there are some more positives in the very near future!

Congrats Lillimorgana! I hope that line is going to get darker in a few days!

[name_m]How[/name_m] is everyone doing?

for those who got their BFP, good luck! praying for sticky babies and healthy pregnancies.

we just finished our second week with a trainer and it hurts so much! I just have to keep telling myself its worth it. my goal right now is to be pregnant by christmas, so I’m just hoping all this works and I’m back on schedule.

@Eryn and @phloxie: Thanks!

@meyera4: Thank you! That’s so cool!

@lilimorgana: Oh wow, congratulations!! Fingers are crossed that the line gets darker and that you have a healthy pregnancy.

@oneofthetrio: Good luck with all of that! I’m sure you’ll be able to see a change in your endurance and your body soon! I hope you are able to reach all of your goals, including pregnancy by Christmas!

I’m officially halfway through this medication round. This has been the roughest one yet…the first couple of days, it gave me terrible cluster headaches. It was so bad that I cried on Day 3, when I took my pills, because I knew I’d have a headache when they got in my system. These last couple doses have been a bit kinder to me and I’m just really looking forward to finishing it up! Then, hopefully, we’ll have good news by Halloween (when next period is supposedly due). If it doesn’t work this time, then I think DH and I will be okay with taking some more time doing things naturally, as we decide when and if to be referred to the specialist.

@namergirl3, I hope it does start to treat you better, headaches in general suck. good luck with this cycle!

and out of curiosity, have you tried/looked into any of the “fertility teas” or pregnitude?

@[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] I hope this is the last time you need to take it. Good news in time for Halloween would be so great!

The line is much darker and thicker now and easily seen. I’m very relieved. I’ve been having symptoms already so I took the test really early (only 8 dpo) so it’s really amazing I even saw anything at all! It’s weird because I didn’t get a positive in any of my other pregnancies until a few days before AF was due and that line was super faint then too. I’m only 3w4d and the line is almost as dark as the control line. Weird. Maybe more hormone this time? Anyway, until I see a doctor I’ll hang out with you ladies and then I’ll be checking in to see how you are. Hopefully not for long, I hope we all make it to the due date threads together!

@lilimorgana, it could just be more hormones, but you know that sometimes means twins/multiples. good luck, I hope its sticky and healthy!

@oneofthetrio @[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and @phloxie I forgot to say thank you! Yes, multiples would be a whole new adventure, haha.

Oneofthtrio: Good luck to you in reaching your goals. I hope you get your sticky bean soon.

namergirl3: I’m sorry you’re dealing with those awful medication side affects. Hopefully they subside and you wont need to deal with that anymore!

Lilimorgana: Congratulations!! I had a pretty nice line on First Response for 3w2d as well. Somebody said the same thing lol! So far only one little bean that we can see.

Congrats Phloxie!!!

@bedhead Thanks! Yeah, it’s probably only one and just that every pregnancy is different. I’ll be amazed if it’s twins! My great grandmother had twins and nobody else in the family has since, so it would be kind of cool, but it feels so unlikely. I’m just happy to be pregnant and seeing that line darken. What a relief.

I’m wishing healthy pregnancies to everyone !!

Im almost in my fertile week and my husband is on a boys trip. We might get one or two tries in when he’s back. (This will be our second month trying.)

Does everyone have names picked out already?? I like to have the name finalized early on so we can start calling the baby by it’s name.

@morgantaylore, all of the names in my signature are SO approved names, and we have our top choices for both decided already. we are pretty prepared in general and at this point we just need to get pregnant. I’ve done everything I can until we actually have a little one on the way.

@morgantaylore This baby will be [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or [name_u]Calder[/name_u] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] [name_u]Mason[/name_u]. The top row of my signature are our top choices. We are prepared, lol!

@lilimorgana - congratulations!! Hooray!! So excited for you! Can you remind me how long you’ve been trying? Woohoo!

@morgantaylore - good luck and hopefully you get in a few tries :wink: We are settled on a boy’s name but not a girl’s. I actually think it might be fun to bring a list of names and see which “fits” the baby (though we had names picked out for both of my kids previously). Right now I could name 10 more kids, haha, I just need to get pregnant! Your husband approved names are so sweet!

@[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] - hope your headaches go away! :frowning:

In the later part of my fertile time right now. Not feeling super positive about this cycle but there is always hope :slight_smile: I started taking the “conception” vitamins recently but figure it will take a couple months for those to really start making a difference.

@meyera4 Thanks! We tried for three months. The first two we were trying for a girl using a method that said not to have sex during ovulation, so we purposefully would stop when I got a positive OPK. Then we read a study that debunked it and so we continued having sex beyond the positive OPK and conceived that cycle. We’ve been really lucky conceiving ([name_u]Finn[/name_u] was first try, then a miscarriage second try, and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] the cycle after that) so I was a bit discouraged when we got to month three, even though people try for months or years, it just wasn’t what we were used to. [name_m]How[/name_m] long have you been trying? I hope you catch that egg really really soon.

@lilimorgana - aww yay so happy for you! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you get your girl :wink: We’ve been trying for a year for #3, (my first two happened on the first cycle both times), so I’ve been looking for suggestions haha! But so so excited for anyone who gets that BFP no matter how long (or short) it takes! Congratulations again! I wish you a healthy and uneventful pregnancy :slight_smile:

@meyera4 Thanks so much! That’s so strange that it’s taking so long when the others were so quick. I’ve heard that before as well. I wonder why it happens. Are you using OPKs? They really helped me understand my cycle. Then deep ejaculation and I would lift my legs up for a few minutes, lol. Which is ridiculous, but hey. Beyond that I don’t know what to suggest. If it persists, maybe see a doctor if you haven’t and see what is up? I wish you all the best. I really hope it happens soon for you! And thanks again for the kind words!
