[name_m]Hi[/name_m] ladies. Here is my story, I am looking for some advice/input/stories.
I had the Pargard IUD in for just over 6 years. I removed it in mid [name_u]January[/name_u] as my husband and I want to start our family. I waited for 2 cycles; my [name_u]January[/name_u] and Februaury periods, to pass before going for it. I ended up getting pregnant the first month (conceived in early [name_u]March[/name_u]), and my due date was set for [name_u]November[/name_u] 26th. We were so excited! However, when we arrived our our first OB appointment (when I was 8.5 weeks) it was discovered that it was ectopic 
so heartbroken. That was early last week. “Thankfully” it seems to be resolving on its own as I didn’t require surgery or the injections. The doctor seems to think it is more of a fluke and there wasn’t an obvious reason for the ectopic. My hormone levels are dropping steadily and once they zero out I will have some kind of bleed. Then my first real period can come anytime after that from 2-10 weeks is the normal range. After that period ends, we are clear to try again.
Has anybody gone through something like this? I have only found one other person who had an ectopic but she had to get the injection and there is a longer waiting period to try again after that. [name_m]Just[/name_m] curious to see how long it took for your period to come back and if/when you were able to conceive again.
