My husband and I are officially starting to TTC baby #3. Our two children are [name]Trevor[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] ([name]Trev[/name]) and [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Lauren[/name] ([name]Addy[/name]).
For those of you who remember me on Nameberry, I did experience quite a bit of name regret after our daughter was born. With the help of all of you… and some time… I have completely fallen in love with our choice. Our daughter’s name fits her perfectly and I couldn’t imagine her to be anything else.
Anyway, for baby #3, we will not be finding out the gender. I have several girls’ names that I like and was wondering if I could use your help once again. I know it’s very early in the game, but since this will most likely be our last… I really want to take my time on the naming process.
We like to use family middle names. The names [name]Joseph[/name]/[name]Josephine[/name]/[name]Jo[/name] honor close to 10 people on both sides of our family.
I also like the names [name]Eloise[/name] (nn [name]Lola[/name]) and [name]Charlotte[/name] (nn [name]Charlie[/name] or [name]Lola[/name]). Other possible middle names include: [name]Kathryn[/name], [name]Kate[/name], [name]Margaret[/name] or [name]Mae[/name].
For now I am just looking to narrow down my girl options because for a boy I really like the name [name]Owen[/name] [name]Robert[/name]. I think [name]Owen[/name] works well with [name]Trevor[/name] (because they are both Welsh) and [name]Adelaide[/name] (because they both fall under the “old classics”). I have liked [name]Owen[/name] since my first pregnancy and [name]Robert[/name] honors my dad.
I would appreciate any feedback! I am open to other suggestions as well. Thanks for the help!
I like [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Lillian[/name] with [name]Adelaide[/name] - they have similar rhythms and styles. I personally like [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name].
With [name]Trevor[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name], I really love [name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]! [name]Both[/name] fit in so well, and I love the nns of [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Lola[/name]–both of which are adorable with [name]Addy[/name]! I either think [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] or [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] would be lovely.
[name]Charlotte[/name] would be my favorite of them all. I really love [name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] though too! [name]Owen[/name] [name]Robert[/name] is great too! I think they would all be a great fit.
[name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Lilian[/name] are so use, maybe try using something similar that is less common. Charlese [name]Josephine[/name] or [name]Lilliana[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], or maybe even Laylana [name]Josephine[/name]. All much less common, but equally as beautiful.
I like the three syllable rhythm of [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] together, also making me think of [name]Louisa[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name], which you may or may not like.
I totally agree with your comment about sticking with ‘old classics’ and think [name]Owen[/name] [name]Robert[/name] suits beautifully.
My girl thoughts are:
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
Or even [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Kate[/name]?
I love your ideas thus far…love the nn [name]Lola[/name] for [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Eloise[/name]. I think [name]Eloise[/name] sounds great with [name]Adelaide[/name]. [name]Lola[/name] and [name]Addy[/name] or [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Addy[/name] are really cute together, too.
