We have been ttc for over a year now, and this whole time (and also since long before we started ttc) I have been talking, thinking, and daydreaming about names! Our list is starting to seem boring and stale, so I thought maybe I’m missing out on some great names I just haven’t thought of yet. 
We are looking for something familiar, but not common, something that doesn’t belong to 5-10 other people we know. We know a LOT of families with kids and babies, so for us that rules out a lot of names we might otherwise consider. So, ANY suggestions would be wonderful!! We’re mostly looking for girls’ names, as we’ve already pretty much decided to name our first son [name]Griffin[/name]. If it helps to know our style, I could tell you all a few names that are on our current list, but I’d kind of like to see a little of what you suggest first…

There are some great names on these lists! Since I don’t have time to respond to each of you individually, I’ll just list the names that I like from the ones you all have suggested…
- [name]Bridget[/name] - not sure that I’d actually use this, but I do like it. Hmm, I’ll have to ask my husband what he thinks of it…
- [name]Caroline[/name]- I think this is a beautiful name, but my husband isn’t sold on it
- [name]Charlotte[/name]- This is on our list! If we use it, we’d call her [name]Lottie[/name], which is a family name.
- [name]Isla[/name]- I wouldn’t use this because of the pronunciation issues, but I love the sound of it.
- [name]Maeve[/name]- doesn’t work with our last name, but I like it
- [name]Cora[/name]- I think this is very cute, but we have friends who used it for there little girl
- [name]Felicity[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] this! But… My husband tells me it sounds like the name of a boat!
lol! - [name]Susannah[/name]- this is one of those names I’d think is cute on someone else’s baby, but I wouldn’t actually use it myself. Does that even make sense?
- [name]Seren[/name]- Never heard this, but I think I kinda like it. [name]Do[/name] you pronounce it SAIR-inn?
- [name]Helena[/name]- I [name]LOVE[/name] this when pronounced Huh-[name]LAY[/name]-na! I don’t like the pronunciation confusion though.
- [name]Julia[/name]- a bit to popular for me, but I think it’s a beautiful name
- [name]Annika[/name]- Not for me, but I do think it’s cute and spunky!
- [name]Ella[/name]- Darling little name! Wouldn’t use it though because it’s Soooo popular.

- [name]Cassia[/name]- This one has been off and on our list several times. I think it’s pretty when pronounced cass-ee-uh, but have heard of others who would pronounce it cash-uh which I don’t care for at all.
